Hi

Thanks for the owner for all his excelent work. Do you know which issue of the 1993 Forbes magazine did Jim Shooter interview about his firing of Valiant appear ?

The thing about Jim Shooter is that, while I believe him because I am a fan, all he is saying is essentially hearsay. There is no way that any of us can really varify his claims. I don't know him personally either, so I also have an image in my head about him that is likely not accurate. Though based on my reading, he is a tough and demanding man to work with, which would jive with what I also hear that some comic book creators don't really care for him.

Again, I personally believe him, but he has gone on record at many different times about how the Valiant guys were awful people and deserved to be strung up to a truck and driven across the pavement. And he is a writer by trade, so he likely dresses things up a little for entertainment value (however unconsciously).
