As these are not Valiant, but people like these standing out from Marvel DC & Indy, i figured it required a page where we can post bits from ebay etc.

Here to get the ball rolling is Magnus # 1 variant $2.99 BIN.
http://cgi.ebay.com/MAGNUS-ROBOT-FIGHTE ... 2790wt_720

Someone will no doubt grab this pretty fast.

Good luck.

This seller has had C2E2 variants at a good price for awhile. It'll be interesting to see if and when this book starts selling again.

C2E2 variant was "limited" to 2000, I believe.

It's 1,000. Printed on the top left of the comic.

Don't get fooled by the FCBD version...

The C2E2 version has white letters for Dr. Solar and Magnus on the cover.
The FCBD version has black letters on a white "stripe" in the center of the cover.

Oops, Greg has it right... still, 1000 isn't that limited, either. I think maybe it was the SDCC version that had "only" 2000..... but what do I know anyway, I am not collecting these.

That is healthy price indeed still, though the one type of variants that still have a good market turnover are the retailer summit ones, almost as if they are now what all the early variants used to be, if that makes sense.
