Christos Gage & John Ostrander made me do it!

Post by DeadshotFan »

I picked up Christos' Deadshot mini and loved it. Having just gotten back into comics I decided to pick up the SS & Deadshot mini Ostrander did back in the 80's. I really enjoyed the writing style and started looking for other stuff John had done. DC titles, Grimjack KI, and then much to my amazement Eternal Warrior? I had read a Eternal Warrior story years ago but was out of the loop at the time and left it at that. Much to my suprise it was a story done by Ostrander, the backissues were cheap so I thought "why not"?
That is when I discovered he also had done Magnus, which led to Rai, Solar, Ninjak, and I wound up spending over a hundred bucks on backissues.
I wish I had gotten on board back in the day but am glad I discovered these titles now. The talent pool they had amazes me,Ostrander, Truman, Quesada, Morales, Ditko, Barry Windsor Smith, and almost every issue I got was a buck.
So now I am hooked! :thumb:

Yeah, I count CEARs to go to sleep and dream about Harbinger 1 and how much better it is than Unity Red. :thumb:

Glad to be here! I can't wait to start with the other Valiant titles like Harbinger, Archer & Armstrong and the rest.
This has to be one of the most well thought out fan sites I have visited.
Thanks all.

This is without a doubt my favourite fan site (Yes, I am a lurker). Greg does a great job. Harbinger and Archer & Armstrong are amazing. You are going to love them.
