For some reason, that OA advertising bit with the guy in the car, talking to the little guy, creeps me the hell out.

Luckily I got them before I got married, had kids, or had any bills. I can't even afford to buy the Valiant books I'm missing now without selling some of my own stuff. I got a lot before comics started booming again too so that helped. I got a lot of the issues between 40-100 for like $10-$15 each in F or above. Got my #121 for $20. The AF #15 and ASM #1 were not cheap though.

Looks like the original colors but smell should be your best way to be sure. It is clearly the original texts pasted on which strongly indicates that it's the original colors.starbrand wrote:I can't tell for certain if it's been hand colored.

Yeah I already know how it feels to shell out the $$ for the AF#15 and ASM#1. You got some very nice books there. Do you currently have the full run?MrBigFeathas wrote:etos45 wrote:MBF!!!!! I am so jealous of your Amazing Spider-man photos! If only one day I could have the dollars to own those.

Yeah, I have the full run. Wish I could boycott it because of the BND crap but I can't break my set.Escaflown4 wrote:Yeah I already know how it feels to shell out the $$ for the AF#15 and ASM#1. You got some very nice books there. Do you currently have the full run?

Yep, I ran across the same dilemma, but I am planning to cap my run at the nice round number of 700. I'll see when I get the time, I'll post up my ASM run.MrBigFeathas wrote:Yeah, I have the full run. You have good taste. I think Overstreet notes that book as Catwoman's 1st cover appearance - although she first appeared long before... It's beat w/a detached/split cover and not worth a ton of $ but I'm having a blast enjoying the vintage art and reading the hokey stories.Phantom wrote:Hulkman ~ love the b!tch slap of detective 122.

I am glad you figured out the iPad auto correct of my post
Is the story good inside?
To many older comics remain unread.
Best cover post In a long time. Thanks for sharing.
