Like an episode of Conan I'm naming this post "Billy Appeals to the Board...or...What the Hell Does This 9-year Member Newbie Want Now?"

Everyone, I've done Spider a disservice. My errant post put him in a position of feeling like his idea was being stolen. His reaction to that led to further hard feelings. His response may have not been the best but he deserved, and has received, my apology. I ask that we overlook his comments and give him a clean slate. I know I will. It was never my intention to raise a such a ruckus (Can you describe the ruckus?...).

I don't want to be the source of hard feelings and harsh reactions here on the board. I didn't become active again to become embroiled in a controversy. So, I've apologized to Spider and ask that he be given a clean slate by everyone. He seems like a genuine fan. Just maybe a little rough around the edges.

I've said my piece and counted to three...
Billy

Save all the apologies dude.
I think you made an error in posting a new thread when one was already on the go, but you recognised the error and said so, Spider rambled on and on and on and got all angry and *SQUEE* at people and then ended with the final insult, so screw him for all i care, but you have said all you need to say now.
Let it die and just pretend it didnt happen.

On another note, even though you originally signed up many moons ago, i would suggest reading the board history.
Go back and start way back when and read read read.
Then come back join in the fun and all will be cool.

I'm no teacher, but every time you misspell a word it is underlined in red. If you right click on that word, a list of suggested correctly spelled words appear. If you then click on the word that you meant to type, it will replace the misspelled word.

Hope that helps. :thumb:
perhaps this is what happens for you but not my computer but thank I will try to get window 7 when I get cash for more ram.

I apologize. I assumed this held true for any operating system. I stand corrected.
It works on Linux. I think it's a Firefox thing.
ive got windows 7 and firefox never had spell check :?
Chiclo is right - it's a feature of Firefox, not the operating system.

It is typically enabled by default in Firefox. But if not you can enable it by clicking Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> General and under the Browsing section check the box next to "Check my spelling as I type." Those instructions are for Windows and may be slightly different for other operating systems.

For IE, there are add-ons you can download such as the Google Toolbar. But I hate the clutter that toolbars add.
