To start off, three pages from Unity 2000, issue 1, which did not have Magnus in the script, still he was drawn on them. So before printing he was removed:

Something a bit different. I remember in an interview I read that the early comics often were so late that they had not been well checked before going to the printer, and the plates had to be corrected. This of course adds to the already difficult task of identifying the early art. While not absolutely sure, I think this is an example:

Notice Rai's right arm, the part between the faces of Magnus and Rai. As printed the top ink line is not missing.

That was one of my favorite Magnus Flip book covers as well.
