? guys I have a friend that has the listed books with autographs but dont see in gregs list. Could these just be books he got signed at a show or something?

Jack,

Yeah - they were probably signed at a show or a comic shop. The ones Greg has listed here were "Official" Valiant produced books. Hence the name VVSS (Valiant Validated Signature Series). The others he lists are VVSS related like the X-O Database signed by Cliff VanMeter. I believe it was a thank you from Valiant for filling out a survey so it is an official Valiant supplied signature book.

out of that lot, only 9 was an official vvss. Others were probobly just signed at a show or something.

Probably very little value. It depends on who signed them. The certificates are most likelty from a comic shop and generally, that means nothing. :|

I think I saw somewhere about VVSS books that aren't listed on the site...like a secret life dr. mirage, can anyone verify if that's true or not?

That book was going to be produced - they even started making certificates for it. However, it was not produced. There are 2 know COAs owned by board members here.
