Nah, that would ruin Christmas. My kids buy me a new one every year. Doesn't it show?

I've never read Samson in the past but from what little I know, I think it has real potential.

I haven't read any either. Haven't really heard anything about the character or the old series. Kinda like when Valiant launched-I knew nothing about Magnus and Solar back then.
I am really looking forward to Turok though!
Samson too, but mostly because it'll be something brand new, so it'll be judged (by me) on its own merits only.

Only Samson I know is the one from The Bible.
I'll have to Google Samson in his comic form.

Did he speak in a low, velvety baritone?

This thread makes me think of Half Baked and Dave C yelling, "UP WITH HOPE! DOWN WITH DOPE! "

What's the original series about?
Sorry, Knight, I pretty much jacked this thread from the start...

Righteous, super-strong barbarian in post-apocalyptic future. The set-up is fantastic. The science was, typical for its period, pretty clunky or just totally wrong, but the underpinnings were very cool.
I put together a full set once the series was announced. Once you read a few of them, you get the idea of what they're like. There ARE some really good concepts in there.

I'm a fan of Frank Thorne's work, especially his Red Sonja and his more adult oriented works.
