I'd be real surprised if you could find one in high grade, in the packaging or just the comic itself. The comic got folded up pretty good inside that package.Draco wrote:For me this in high grade is a grail book now.Doorman wrote:just picked this up off of ebay
the Firearm VHS & #0 still on the card.

never even seen a copy in original packaging.
Must restart my ebay searches again.

Cool, is yours signed on the back ?Doorman wrote:just picked this up off of ebay

When I received my first one (when they came out) mine was signed on the back by (I believe) the director. And it came to me MINTY fresh, so I ripped that bad boy open, read the comic and watched the mmmmmmovie.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo !!

Oh heck yeah, it is not all that bad. I might even bust open my new sealed copy to check it out again if it is not on YouTube.Doorman wrote:i can't imagine the movie is even watchable. did you make it to the end?
I did NOT like however that the actor has long hair and the Firearm character (which is my FAVORITE character) has really short hair. Meh, at least he had a cool GUN.
(I know, I know... this is my weapon, this is my gun, this ones for shooting, this ones for fun, blah blah hehehehe

NOT BUSTIN' NO CHOPS HERE... weren't these books part of the very first Valiant work ? I know I've seen a thread somewhere (maybe on VCS ?) in ref to these books. AND if I remember correctly, vikingspawn was hot for teacher for these books. hahaha But I can't place the DU they are associated with. vs ?

Yes, I was hunting these for a bit. I forgot there was another Valiant section thread and I posted here since I was used to this thread.Knightt wrote:NOT BUSTIN' NO CHOPS HERE... weren't these books part of the very first Valiant work ? Is there a Gallery section on the boards for these food books?

When OTV interviewed JJ, I brought up the Cheesasaurus book and she said that she had to colour that one by hand if I remember right.Knightt wrote:NOT BUSTIN' NO CHOPS HERE... weren't these books part of the very first Valiant work ? NO NO... this place is just fine. That was not what I meant. I could not remember if I read it here or on VCS or even in which thread.vikingspawn wrote:Yes, I was hunting these for a bit. I am super glad you found these, you seemed rather pumped. Did you pick them up together or a gathering of the four ?

I was perusing back issues at ye olde LCS and I was surprised to see a copy of the Elven 1 Limited Foil Edition.
I was frelling shocked when I grabbed it and there was a second copy behind it.
$2.50 is a little more than I like to pay for Ultraverse issues but I hardly see this one pop up on eBay much less run across them in the wild.
This mirrors last week when I found two copies of Zero Patrol #1 Newsstand ($1.50 cover price) in the backissue boxes.
