I know that Jim Shooter sometimes did layouts or pencils. Is there any place to view his raw work before finish pencils or inks?

Not that I am aware of.
Below is a link where you can download an Excel file with his pencil credits (yes, even as Paul Creddick). It's the last tab once you have downloaded the Excel file.

I'm pretty positive that that is Shooter's layout for Solar Man Of The Atom #4 page 21.
Yep! You got it!

I like the minimalist approach he used in the last few panels.

Several years ago a Shooter layout page for an early Solar story went for less than 20.00 on eBay. The art looked more complete than the one posted above. I really wish I'd stepped up and bid on that one.
Anyone here own any Shooter layout pages?

I own a piece of OA from Magnus 5 I believe credited to Paul Creddick.

Me too, it's so cool with those.

Yep. Solar for me as well. I remember an interview where Jim said he made these layouts for BWS. Has anyone seen them for any other title?

If it's convenient, could you guys that own Shooter art/layouts post pics? I know it may not be possible, but if so... thanks.

I can try. It's pretty buried, so finding it is a task unto itself. We'll see if the wife cuts me loose long enough.

Great stuff, thanks for putting those pics up!!!
Shooter's layout art is better than most of the tripe out there to this day... and he can draw feet!
