some very cool books, if you got those cheaply, you did VERY nicely. If you're interested in the Brute and Babe stuff, I've got an ashcan "Babe and Brute Infinity" that must have originally been in Wizard that I'll throw in the package next time I send you something.

Please let me double check on that as I bet I have it but if I don't, I'd sure like to pick one up. I am working a deal now for more books from Omnipress. I guess it never surprises me to find new and cool DUs.

I just popped into my LCS yesterday and picked up :

The Rook (Harris Comics) 0, 1, 2, 3

Just a Pilgrim (Black Bull) 1, 2, 3 (I know I needed #1 as I think that is missing from a recent board member order, if anything reading books and freebies to someone who might need and issue or two)

Elven (Ultraverse) Limited Foil Edition #1 (MINTY copy)

Deathmate (Valiant/Image) Pink NIIIIIICE copy

The Amazing X-Men (Marvel) #4 to finish out my Age of Apocalypse. I think I need the Omega, I forgot about X-Man 1-4, X-Universe 1-2 to be complete as well as more of the gold TPBs, I only have three right now. I got REALLY lucky, I picked up all of the runs (sans X-Man and if I go back I bet I can find it), any of them like Weapon X 1-4 bagged and boarded $3.00... and so on and so on. For me this is GREAT as I was JUST starting up trying to snag these

The Snake Ashcan Edition #1 (Anubis Press)
The Snake #1 (Anubis Press)

Shadow Slasher: Blood of the City (Pocket Change Comics) #1, #3

Zen Intergalactic Ninja (Ashcan) "Tour of the Universe

Some odd Spidey issues, I've never seen these before (any info on these ?):

Spider-Man Produced in cooperation with the National Committee for Prevention of Child Abuse (Special Edition Sponsored by 7 Eleven) - Verbal Child Abuse

Spider-Man and Power Pack Produced in cooperation with the National Committee for Prevention of Child Abuse (Special citation noted by President Ronald Regan) Sexual Child Abuse

Marvel Comics and The Electric Workshop Present Spidey Stories #42 and #49

OH and lastly for freakin cover price of $3.50 !!!!! Doctor Solar (Dark Horse) #1 both covers. My Dark Horse Doctor Solar #1 SDCC variant cover edition was mailed out yesterday, probably get here by Monday.

I think I am going back today as I saw what must have been 30 different Zen Intergalactic Ninja and Baby Zen

Lucky dog, mate.... I can't get ANYONE to go down ONE dollar from the cover price on Virgin comics or TPBs even when I say that I will 'take 'em all'.

This weekend I will fire up the the scanner and digital camera and show off my new goodies, some from the cheap bins and others from purchases for board members.

They have dried up here a bit now, but were good at 25p/50p for six months.
Dont know if many were bought up or if the sellers are now trying other cheap books out, but im closer each show.
Still need 100 issues to complete including tpbs etc.
Also still only have one premium issue and might have to start paying £5.00 to complete them ouch.

That is what it gets down to in the end, finally picking off those HTF or expensive issues. I swear, on some collections that last books cost more than the entire collection of that DU. yeesh

I loved the way some of the Realm books looked.
The fuzzy painted style inside with some lovely covers too.
must check to see if they are on my main DU list as im pretty sure i dont actually have a single copy of any of their books in my selection at this time.
