I know mine is over 5k by what people tell me with that addon but I don't use it. I do know for fury warriors on the alliance side for my realm I'm 9th best geared.Unblessed wrote:hit 80 on my 5th character (Shadow Priest and my 1st toon ever) the day before yesterday.
4 lvl 80's on Malygos (Alliance)
1 lvl 80 on Kilrogg (Horde)
Gear Scores between 3k and 4.5k (as per the Curse AddOn).
It's tough to get gear when you play so many different characters.![]()

It's easy to get gear when you only raid on one toon.

I don't know what your financial situation is but I don't consider $30 for 2 months is that bad of a deal. I have a lot of fun on WoW so it's well worth it.etos45 wrote:Wow... I haven't played WoW in some time. Last was on a private server, but it just isn't the same experience. I miss my Pally on there, but I'm afraid the monthly cost just isn't worth it. They really need to consider lowering the price because that is what is keeping everyone I know away from it.

It's not so much that I can't afford it as it is that I don't think it's worth it. I love WoW, but I don't love it $14.99 a month's worth. To put it in perspective, I pay $4.99 a month for Xbox Live and with that I get the ability to play multiple games online, chat with voice while I play, NetFlix, MSNBC news and much much more. For three times that cost I get to play a game that I've already paid $50 for (plus $50 for the Burning Crusade update) and the ability to type-chat. It just seems a bit extreme. To add to that, there were two other updates that I haven't bought to add to the cost.Rubiks-Q-Bert wrote:I don't know what your financial situation is but I don't consider $30 for 2 months is that bad of a deal. WoW is a great MMO... the best IMHO. That being said, though, I don't think any of these MMOs are worth what they charge a month and I just wish the cost would go down or that they would at least create a network so that my $14.99 a month would give me access to more than just one game.

Yeah if I had credit cards or even a debit card I probably would. I love the game. My warrior is 5th in gear for alliance, 6th on the realm and I recently earned a spot on the top 100 of all classes on the alliance side.Unblessed wrote:Yeah. something like that. There's that mental barrier of $15 a month vs $12. Yeah. I'm not addicted at all.

Here's my Shadow Priest. Started playing November of 2007 as my first character and he's still my main:

I struggled for years trying to justify paying a monthly fee to play a game. I realized it was worth it once I started playing WoW. I was probably the biggest hater of WoW until I started playing. I stopped playing for about six months just before WOTLK came out and I've been playing again regular since about March of last year.
Best way for me to justify paying $15 a month is to look at my wife. She pays $20 a month for nails and $30 a month to tan. I don't have any other recurring expenses other than my comics every month. For that - and the fact that my best friends play - is enough to justify it.

I allowed two of my kids to play Wow (monitored by me and my wife of course). I didn't see them for about a year.
The only thing I 'pay for' to play is my gold Xbox Live account... too many benefits not to have one.
I see now that Sony/Playstation 3 is starting up a special yearly account for online play and other benefits for the paying online service. No way, will I get that... I do not use my PS3 enough to justify that.

Transfer to Alleria and roll with me. I do 10/12 minmimum ever week on my warrior and 7/12 on my hunter. Not doing much on my DK even though he's more geared than my hunter.Unblessed wrote:Updated character stats.
In ICC 10/25 with 3 of my 80's. Guild's at 6 out of 12 bosses for that raid.
Detrop (Fury Warrior)
Niraki (Survival Hunter)
Nirokino (Unholy Deathknight)
