Haha looking through the buy/sell board, I was kicking myself for realizing that I decided to come back this forum a month or two too late

Let's see what this Solar 60 goes for. Already an early bid at 8.00.

Ya I sold like 10 of them about 6 months ago. Took a bit to get them sold.

Honestly none of these are really that hard to find if you keep looking.

At one point I had about 30 of each [ X-0, Solar, BS]

I sold about 10 Solars and 15 X-0s but still have the Bloodshots.

At one point if I dont end up selling everything Id like to get some Bloodshot penguins made and have them come with the book signed. I think that would make a killer project.

That's amazing you had so many. I don't think I've seen 30 total for sale of those books in my entire life.

Agreed. Certainly not in the wild in shops. I did buy a bunch from mycomicshop many years ago. Had a number of Turok 47s. I've not owned more than 10 BS 51s total over the last 10 years.

I was lucky to find 2 people that sold me multiples and the rest I have picked up here and there.

My intentions were to do a project as I mentioned but alas I dont think I will ever get to it.

I think there are a few guys who have multiples of these and just dont sell them or talk about it. I have found that to be true on most books.

Considering the size of some of the collections on this board, large inventories of key issues are not unusual.

I've currently got 30-35 copies of Solar #60 and at no time was it ever difficult to acquire a copy when it was sought. Bet you can find several floating around this board or ebay right now although some may be part of lots or runs. From my experience, the book which has the most limited availability is BS followed by XO.

Very impressive to have that many issues of #60. I've ran across a bunch over the years, but not those kind of numbers.

This ends shortly. Taking a close look at the pic, there's spine stress that makes the book appear to be VF.

You're right, it's amazing how resilient some of those later issues of Valiants are. I just saw a Harbinger 41 close at 9.00. Not a bad price for that issue, even in a largely down market.

Bloodshot 51 and Bloodshot: Last Stand are also pretty solid. Magnus 64, Solar 60 and Turok 47 are ones I expect to see some movement on pretty soon.
