Great price on that one. Those later issues are pretty hard to come by.

Buddy and I just split (well, he kinda fronted my half, but anyway) an impulsive craig's list comic purchase. Some guy pretty close by advertised that he had 300+ comics from the 60s-80s.

Well, It wasn't 300. We haven't finished sorting yet, but it looks to be at least 700 books. AND we talked him down a bit on the price.

Mostly 80s, about 1/3 dc, handful of Marvels, and TONS of DU stuff.

If anyone has any DU needs still, let me know.

I was hoping for some key books, or at least some Marvel books on my want list. NEITHER one of us pulled one book we needed or even vaguely wanted. Stupid DU stuff. But it is a ton of fun, and not too expensive.

I just hope my next bulk purchase includes more books on my want list.

Picked this up for a buck. Going to try and flip, not sure how much the bottom left corner is going to hurt me, but I can dream, right?

Yeah this book is a hit or miss with the variant collectors. The last copy I found was NM and I think I managed to sell it for around $30. I'm not sure how much it will fetch in the current depressed market.

I put it up at $105, based on the last that went for $125 (though that was a good NM copy).

I really don't expect to get that much, but weirder things have happened.

It is a newsstand price variant, the direct edition had a cover price of 25 cents. :thumb:

Yeah given the sales I have had on Ebay a while back, I wouldn't be surprised. However, I am sorta shocked about the $125 sale. Also while searching on the past sales, I missed out on this one.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Uncanny-X-men-423-H ... 3cada66585

This copy is the error cover version where it has both 25 cents & $2.25 on the cover. Whoever got it for $41, got it for a steal as it's far more rare then the $2.25 price variant.

The XO 68 and Bloodshot 50 are worth what you paid for the entire lot. Great deal.

Nice going. I would have gladly paid 19 bucks for that lot.
