And even that is not too bad of a deal considering the rarity of the last few issues.

Bloodshot #51 was pretty easy to get for me at one point, for some reason I had always had trouble tracking Solar #60.This what I have as of right now.

X-O #68 -6 copies
Bloodshot #51-3copies (once had 10 copies but sold to a member here)
Solar #60- 6 copies
Turok #47 -10 copies

Jesse

I really need to stop hoarding :P

I had great timing I bought pretty much 2 full sets of preunity to unity from gregs comics in mesa for about nothing at 1 time (around 100ish)
after that i bought 2 stores inventory 1 in tuscon and one in flagstaff 1 was only around 2 k another was 6ish and the rest was from all these years of digging i got some off the bay and if i got out bid cool if not its all mine
as i find good deals i still buy but those are getting a little harded but for the most part no one else looks in the east valley as long as ZWH is not home (he lives 2 miles from my parents and has deep pockets) ive found lots of great deals like solar 10 for 2 bucks at least 5 times tons of mags and solar pre unity for a buck each, and if 1 area got hot like harbinger did a while back i worked on the cheeper stuff like mags and solar. ( i only have 3 harby 1s)

the last book i got to finish up was shadowman 43 if i remember correctly found 5 at a yard sale
:D

I agree. It took me a LOT longer to find Solar #60 than the others

I have my search function set so eBay's supposed to email me when a Solar 60 comes up for sale. I haven't heard from eBay yet on this auction. :|

I saw the owner of Greg's Comics the first evening of PhoenixCon, walking to the lightrail while my buddies and I were doing the same.

Man, Greg's Comics was THE comic store for me in my first years of collecting while I still lived in Tempe (Guadalupe/McClintock :)) The owner is awesome (Mike/Mark? I can't remember right now...)

The only reason I don't go now is because I live way north in Phoenix. My new store of late has become Samurai Comics. I've gotten to know the owner Mike there pretty well lately and I have opened a subscription box for the new Solar and Magnus books when they come out.

Greg's Comics...man, the memories! Thanks, supes!!!!

great thread!

I have two Bloodshot 51s one of which I was lucky to pay only 80 cents for a few months ago.

I have no X-O 68 (yet! heh) and Ive actually never even seen a Solar 60 in person.

I only recently acquired Turok 47 and am now on the hunt for X-O 68 and Solar 60.

Thanks to the fine gents on this here website, I purchased a copy of Solar 60 and Turok 47. I ended up buying a copy of X-O 68 on eBay for $19.99 plus shipping. I have to say that holding that comic in my hands was just an awesome feeling :)

Nothing has beat holding my copy of Harby #1 the first time though. Awesome!!

I can only imagine! XO and Solar will be mine!

Harby #1 was one of the book I wanted most when I was a kid.

I'll never forget the day a few years ago when I forgot my wallet and was killing time waiting for a friend. I browsed the comic shop and found a Harby #1 for $10 and couldnt buy it. When I went back it was gone.

Luckily a few months later I found a similar deal at the same shop, however the Harby wasn't in as good condition. But I'm still happy with it.

I think it was only a few months ago that I had about 10 copies of Solar #60 listed for sale here and no one was interested. A week or two later, another member struck a deal with me and bought them all out. Now we have tons of folks looking for this issue. It's kinda funny how things work.
