Ebay Seller to Avoid
I'm surprised this seller hasn't been banned yet. I originally bought a book off him about a month ago and I still haven't received anything yet. At that time, his feedback was spotless. It was a week or two after I bought the book that all the negative feedback started to roll in by other folks. In any case, I have already opened up a dispute and just waiting to get my money back, but avoid this seller at all cost.

I doubt this is the case as two weeks ago, he actually responded to me saying that he had shipped it and I should be getting it in a week. I still haven't received anything yet and judging from the other feedback, he made the same lie to them as well. His feedback was definitely clean before I bought something from him. It's as he just suddenly decided to give up.Doorman wrote:i imagine this is what happens when ebay sellers get seriously injured or die. from his previous feedback ... i doubt he's intentionally screwing people...

I dealt with a seller a few years back of whom I thought that was the case. He had perfect feedback in the many thousands and all of a sudden he gets a ton of negs from people saying they never go their stuff. I filed a Paypal claim and got my money back, but never did find out what happened.Doorman wrote:i imagine this is what happens when ebay sellers get seriously injured or die. from his previous feedback ... i doubt he's intentionally screwing people...

Yeah I have already received my money back from Ebay from the item I bought from this seller. What I find interesting is how long it'll take Ebay to figure out that his account needs to get removed. It's obvious 20+ negs in a row with tons of people filing for item not received is not doing the trick.

Crap like this used to happen to me all the time when I was buying dvd's on ebay for cheap.
I think it was around 2005 when I started never receiving my dvd's from at least three buyers. One actually left me positive feedback before unregistering from ebay so I couldn't leave any feedback at all.
Frustrating part was all 3 overlapped and were seperate entities from what I could tell. Don't know how it is now, but back then you could only attempt one paypal dispute per year - and all paypal could do was pull funds out of their paypal account - they couldn't touch their bank or credit cards for any funds you couldn't recoop. I had $50 sent to one dvd seller and got $9 and some change back from my purchase.
One terrible seller had the gaul to post a signed Lebron James jersey a month after my dvd fiasco and blocked all of his feedback from view. Needless to say I contacted every bidder I could on that jersey to let them know how big a sleaze ball he was.
