Is this a reasonable price to expect to pay for this book? Or what would be in your opinion?Elveen wrote:Good luck. This is a very hard book to find. These sold for $20 easy just a bit ago.megatronthe3rd wrote:Anyone have one for sale reasonable?

Lol...*SQUEE*, true. But a decent send-off being that VH1 was being forced to endUnblessed wrote:Yes. It's honsetly best you NOT read this one. You will be *SQUEE*.dbostejano wrote:I've got one in CGC 9.4 for 40.00

Yes, $20 is reasonable. If you live in an area where the Valiants haven't been picked through, you may find one cheap. However, those areas are few and far between nowadays. X-O 68, Turok 47 and Bloodshot 51 are the tough ones.evophile wrote:Is this a reasonable price to expect to pay for this book? Or what would be in your opinion?Elveen wrote:Good luck. It's kind of nice that most of the books are dirt cheap, while some of the others (Pre-Unity/end-of-run) books are a bit pricier. It is SO worth having it all if you're going to try to collect the stories.
I've had great success in completing runs. So far I've completed
Archer and Armstrong
Bloodshot
X-O (just need a better copy of 68)
Solar with the exception of 60
Magnus with the exception of 60
Eternal Warrior
Missing some random Turok's
Ninjak
Missing a few random issues of Dr. Mirage
Hopefully Rai is on the way
Geomancer
Shadowman
I do have to confess something, on free comic book day my local shop had about 50 long boxes he was selling. He knew I was into Valiant's so he saved me one full long box. The good news? It was all Valiant books.
The bad news? While in my opinion it had some good stuff I needed it also have multiple copies of the Unity books, Rai 6 and the like.
The books broke down to 1.00 each and all in all I felt good about the sale. I don't think any of the stuff would interest anyone on the boards it's mostly odds and ends, random issues of A & A, Shadowman, Magnus.
