The wife and I just got a Nintendo Wii last week (Woo Hoo!!!).

What am I playing? Mega Man 10 :) I am a HUGE old school Mega Man fan, and this game has been a blast...and it's definitely kicking my @$$...hahahahahaha.

Currently going through a game of Final Fantasy XII. I may one day get a PS3 and purchase XIII, but I am hearing things that make me really leery about that. Namely, the control scheme and the lack of exploration as well as too many people saying it plays like X-2, which I didn't like at all. Anyways, I am having a blast with XII. The more I play it, the more I come very close to a personal heresy...placing it above 6(which I came to love as 3 on the SNES).

Playing the new Splinter Cell game, which is fantastic. Got Alan Wake lined up next, which I've heard good things about.

Also playing a few dumb iPad games, but they're so far behind the console stuff that I really don't understand the appeal. Plants vs. Zombies is fun, though.

Just got around to picking up Fallout 3 for £12 which I thought was pretty good. I was apprehensive about picking this up as I knew it was similar to Oblivion in gameplay and for some reason I just never got on board with Oblivion. Fortunately I've gotten into Fallout 3 alot more than Oblivion!

You truly get a feeling of how vast and desolate the world you are in is which is ace and the stylised future-retro theme is hella cool. Just wish I wasn't in work so I could be playing more

I've been trying for over a year to get into it... so far no joy. It will be a trade in very soon along with the game guide, unless someone here would like to buy it ? OR trade for it ?

Sorry if I was unclear... Fallout 3 is the one that I cannot get into.

Oblivion... I guess I could say that I enjoy it, but only if I stick to the main quest and not bother with mixing this flower with that rock, trying to create potions. I just want to hack $hit up. Truth be told... WAY to much freakin' talking and inventory management in both games.

You may like borderlands then K. It has a similar feel to Fallout 3, but is not nearly as immersive. Much more action oriented, but there is still some inventory management you have to do

I've been looking at Borderlands for a while now. Just want it to come down in price a bit. It's still pushing £30 every time I've seen it.

Oh I am knee-deep in hand grenade pins right now in Borderlands... a game WELL worth $34 off the 'used game' wall at GameStop. :thumb:

borderlands rules! Its all I played for months. maxed out my hunter to 61 and got a bunch of killer guns. I hope they make some more DLC, pretty much did everything except fo the long Moxxies challenge.

Right now I'm playing 3d Dot Game Heroes
http://www.amazon.com/3D-Dot-Game-Heroe ... 795&sr=8-1

If you like classoc zelda at all, then this is the game for you. Its pretty much just a 3d remake mix of the 1st Zelda and a link to the Past, (and remake i mean uses the same formula with lots of similarities) but with its own twists and style and puzzles. Lots of Demons Souls references too :)

You can even design your own character, I downloaded a character file from the internet and Im playing through as Batman.

It has a bunch of minigames like tower of defense and breakout that can keep you busy for hours. Anyways its pretty cheap, and worth a pickup if you like old school.

Also been playing DJ Hero, which I am really liking as well, almost finished all the tracks on Hard. And playing Super Street Fighter IV which just came out, Im so rusty since I havent played the original in like a year. :!:

This month is going to be pretty crazy with Alan Wake, Red Dead Redemption and Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Prince of Persia. With the quality stuff this month it feels like it is October/November already :thumb:

I've been meaning to buy the Game of the Year Edition of Batman Arkham Asylum, but I can't find it anywhere. It's like none of the stores are stocking it or something. Weird.

Have you tried looking at Wal-Mart? I've seen copies at several different Wallys around here.

Split/Second, which is kind of like Burnout Paradise combined with Mario Kart. It's fun and has plenty of ways to race. Not a very good game to relax with though ... I am pretty amped up when I quit.

Finished Splinter Cell Conviction last week, that is a damn fine game. More action than stealth this time, and that works for me. Also played through Iron Man 2. Meh. Got some good cheevos, anyway.

Did my first playthroughs on Metal Slug and Samurai Shodown on the SNK Collection. Both are as awesome as I remember. Never having played Shodown outside the arcade, I was surprised how lengthy and difficult it is (though still fun to play). And never played Charolette (the French girl) in it before, but she's got a wonderfully cheap and effecient strong slash that can take out most of the CPU opponents. :)

Just got the Batman AA GOTY Edition. Awesome game, and the 3-D is incredibly impressive. I was shocked at how good the 3-D was.... I swore that I'd never turn it on, but I'll probably play the whole game with it on now that I've seen it.
