I'm not sure what I'm going to get yet either...you might contact Mail Order Comics and see if they think they can get a reorder in for you.

A local store owner told me yesterday he couldn't sell me my FCBD copies until Free Comic Book Day, but Mail Order Comics informed me they got my copies in today and will be shipping them to me today.

Is anyone getting even MORE excited about this?
9. I'm excited my copies are on the way as of today from Mail Order Comics. They're on the East Coast as I recall, and I'm in Phoenix and they're travelling media mail, but sometimes media mail is surprisingly fast. Maybe I'll get mine in less than 9 days.

Thanks! No idea how I could not know that, since I've bought so much stuff from them.
Well, they're even closer to me than I realized.

Here is my situation.

Tonight is my girl's birthday slumber party for their friends.

Tomorrow morning we are take part in our community garage sale. (I will also have to somehow, make all the kiddies my famous apple cinnamon pancakes during the garage sale, and have to deal with all the parent pick ups.)

then later Saturday night we are having the family b-day party for the girls.

In between we ARE going to free comic book day. There is a shop like 10-15 min. from us. All of us are going.

But.......

There is a LCS about 30 min away that is having a big ole thingy.

This is the guest list:

Mark Waid
Whilce Portacio
Philip Tan
Thomas Zahler
Dwayne McDuffy
Adam Beechen
Norm Rapmund
Danny Miki
Alan Martinez
Amy Wolfram

and about 6 other dudes I am to lazy to type.

I am thinking I am going to drag the family up to this. Looks like good fun. I am thinking / hoping my kids can get some Boom stuff.
