West Texas Comic Con

If anybody is going to be in Lubbock tomorrow, come on out to the West Texas' Comic Con. It's at the Lubbock Civic Center on Mac Davis drive. I'll understand if nobody else makes it because as Mac Davis said, happiness is Lubbock, Texas in your rearview mirror.

Only one real bit of action today in Lubbock.

One guy had 4 short boxes of 25 cent bins. I raided a good chunk of it, including a Valeria 1 White cover. The guy gave me a short box for all the books and was putting the comics in there and that comic was on top of one handful he grabbed. He gave me an odd smile and said "Do you know that at one time this was a $100 book?" I told him I knew it was rare and that I've got the red foil variant to go with it.

Lemme know when the next 'Con in West Texas' is... it is not 'that long' of a drive to there from here in SV, AZ. Maybe we can cruise the isles togehter ?

They announced at the last one that it will be the last one for a while.
