Comics Greatest World
Anyone have any info on the print-runs on the red, blue, silver or gold cover Comics Greatest World issues?
Also, X #1 had five different covers. Can anyone shed any light on them?
What else is out there as far as Comics Greatest World stuff that might be a bit harder to find? Thanks.

Re: Comics Greatest World
Print runs have been hell to find. There's some print runs and other info here, although it does not list alternate covers: http://valiantfans.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27926StarBrand wrote:Anyone have any info on the print-runs on the red, blue, silver or gold cover Comics Greatest World issues?

Now the X issues for Arcadia Week 1 came multiple different ways:
1) B/W Press Proof (B/W Cover & Interiors)
2) Regular Edition
3) Special Limited Edition (B/W & Red Cover)
4) B/W Holofoil W/Arcadia Symbol in the upper right circle (Capital Release)
5) B/W & Red Holofoil W/Diamond Symbol in upper right circle (Diamond Previews Release)
As the case with each of the variants of all the Week 1 Comics Greatest World books they were released as above with the exception of the B/W Press Proof as Arcadia was the only one released like that. Also the Diamond & Capital holofoil releases can be found sold seperately, but they originally came in Collector's Packs which contained the comic/bookmarks/& a lithograph. So if you got just the comic you only have a partially complete set. And to make matters even more complicated Diamond & Capital had different lithos in each pack. In the CGW Dead Universe Issue list I posted a picture to show how each set was different.
