Pretty sure they are all #1 issues.Prelate1 wrote:Which DF Ultraverse books do you have Chiclo? I've got a few myself but I don't know what all is out there.Chiclo wrote:Why are we including DF books on Bravura but not Ultraverse?
I've got several DF Ultraverse books not included on that list.
I know for sure Nightman and Solitaire because I have scans in my Photobucket account. My Ultraverse boxes are, despite my greatest efforts to the contrary, stacked with everything else and the last time I moved comic boxes around to look through them, I interfered with whatever project my wife has going on with them. I had a spare copy of one of the other that I sent to tictuck, either as trading goods or threw in as an apology for being so late in sending my part of the trading goods.
I had thought I settled that a while back (but perhaps never updated the list) but DF signed books ARE included on ALL lists.
I include Dynamic Forces signed books as part of the official lists.
I know it begs a conflict but I figure that DF was in cahoots with any of the comic book companies to conduct such activities. Also, DF created variant covers for the signings, I think we would want that on the list, agreed ?
I MUCH prefer signed books from the actual company like the Ultraverse signed books (with Ultraverse COA) and the Valiant signed books (VVSS). Those are 100% O-fficial but we 'allow' for DF books. I will have to do some updating.
We came to somewhat of a consensus a while back.

And 3 more

I'll PM these 5 DF Ultraverse books to Knightt so he can add them to the list. I think the signed/coa Infinitys and 1s from the relaunch should be added also. As far as I can tell they are Malibu/Marvel product. I'll send him a list of what I've got.

I've actually got that and didn't realize it wasn't on the list. Nice pick-up Draco.Draco wrote:Starslammers # 1 DF signed by walt Simonson of 2,500
If Knightt sees this, it looks like there are 3 books that need to be added to the Bravura list
Starslammers 1 DF S/N limited to 2500
Power and Glory 1A DF S/N limited to 10000
Breed TPB S/N limited to 500

The Edge story has been released in its complete form. Link provided:
http://www.amazon.com/Last-Heroes-Steve ... 0743493214
Unfortunately Edge was meant to be a trilogy (Like Breed) but unfortunately Gil Kane passed away before the remain parts of the trilogy could ever come to light.

Ok Bravura completists, it's time to update your needs list. I just got this new find in today
Bravura Preview Book 1 Gold
It doesn't show up to good in the pic but the Bravura logo is gold foil.
Also picked up another Bravura 0, this one signed by Gil Kane.
Knightt, would you please add the new book to the checklist.

For fans of 'Breed, when I talked to Jim Starlin at Boston last year, he mentioned he was shopping around 'Breed III since it was supposed to originally be a trilogy.
It came up alongside discussions of Unity 2000.
Out of curiousity, does anyone have a complete set of scans for the artwork for 4-6? I've been seeing some of the pages come up on eBay.

'Breed III #1 is in the current issue of Previews magazine. It is the first comic solicited in the Image section. It will be a seven issue mini-series.chesscub wrote:For fans of 'Breed, when I talked to Jim Starlin at Boston last year, he mentioned he was shopping around 'Breed III since it was supposed to originally be a trilogy.

I saw Tom Mason of Malibu fame (and I think he was the EIC of the Bravura line) mention that somewhere on his blog last December or so.

Yeah, nice to see Breed being done again, also had read a while back it was much on the cards. I enjoyed the 90's books Starlin did
My overall Bravura selection is actually quite good for my DU set, many of the signed df books and acetate specials etc nicely ticked off for great prices.
Pretty sure i own the Gold Advance Comics Preview too, but best check on that first.
Over their reasonable span as a publisher, Malibu under various guises & Imprints produced a multitude of diverse titles, Bravura being my favourite.

Spiff. I'd learned about it back in April last year. Glad to hear he found a resting spot for it.Chiclo wrote:'Breed III #1 is in the current issue of Previews magazine.
