How Important Will 2010 Dark Horse Gold Key FCBD Book Be?

Quantity or desirability doesn’t make a book important. What will make the book important is its influence on the run of comics it is connected and how readers respond to that run as a whole.

If this marks the beginning of a strong run of comics then Shooter’s FCBD issue will be very important. If the new Gold Key titles are dead within a year or so—who cares.

I think with the track record of the parties involved, the FCBD issue will be much more important than just about any other book I’ve picked up in previous years—perhaps more important than Unity #0 if the relaunch is successful.
