CGC does not denote pressing as they cannot detect it reliably (if at all, at least professional press-jobs.)maraxusofkeld wrote:Does the cgc label say they were pressed, or do you know they were? And if so, how?
Not speaking for him, but I would imagine sckao submitted these himself, and that's how he knows they are pressed. Or, he purchased them and the seller disclosed the pressing.

As you might know, pressing has been a subject of contention for many years on the CGC boards.
I finally submitted a batch of comics myself for pressing to see how they'd turn out. These were comics that I would not have thought would have received a 9.8 or comics that had a weird curl or non-color breaking creases.
Some I submitted just to see if a certain problem like a gouge in a cardboard stock cover could be pressed out. (It couldn't.)
Some had edge curls that I probably caused myself through poor handling.
Any comics that I have had personally pressed will be denoted as such although I can't control what happens after that.
As I've purchased most of my collection from other sources instead of off the rack, I can't say if any of these others were pressed or not before I purchased them.

I see Shin got to this first, but if you ever see something over there you want, let us know here. There are plenty of us on both sites, and I know I would be glad to do the same thing Shin is offering.Chiclo wrote:I almost registered just to buy that guy Transplant's Avengers 4.
