So most people will not pay for the tracking and you can easily get scammed out of item and money.
I can understand someone like new_england and his thousands of listings, selling items that (in most cases) have high demand it's not worth the hassel, but in something like a valiant comic with a limited buyer pool, one or two buyers can have a huge impact!

With SNE its something else altogether as they'll ship to United States, Europe, Asia, Australia, Mexico...but not Canada. :?

I agree with the impact it can have. Back at around page 9 of this thread posted an email I sent to suestorm after their record low sale of 310 for a Harby 1. Not allowing International bidders is a choice though and with that must come the realization that the return will be lower. This is obviously balanced with the aggravation caused to the seller by some, but not ALL, international bidders.

I do not know about anybody else but everything that I have received sent USPS GP, I have had to sign for at this end. Canada Post also puts a ton of barcodes on the boxes for, I would presume, tracking purposes once inside Canada. Then again I purchase 3-4 at a time to save on shipping...1 comic never. It's just not cost effective especially from a happy marriage POV.

1st post updated.

Harby #1 Qualified No Coupon from suestorm_comics serial #0976295001 [Green Qualified Label - no coupon]
Just ended at $32 . . . . that's right, $32 only.
yes, I won it! I know there is no coupon, but $32? Thought it would go higher than that
Congrats on the win. That's a good price regardless of the recent slump in prices
Thanks, I really can't believe I got it so cheap.
Got this book in today. The strange thing about it is:

It says qualified, coupon missing. But then it also says Harbinger 0 mail order coupon included.

Isn't that contradictory?

Wouldn't it be funny (and fortuitous) for you if it really has the coupon and should have a blue label? :hm:

The left and right side comments about the book are generic from the CGC database, regardless of the actual book in hand.

The things which are specific to the book in hand are typed in the center between the title and serial number.
Restoration, signatures, or missing coupons will be in the center.
Everything else is non-specific, descriptive of the book in its original form.

So that explains it...thanks.

Hey, Maybe I'll pull a coupon out of a poor copy and list it on ebay as a Harbinger 1, CGC 9.8 with coupon!

Okay, maybe not. :?

I know this information is somewhere in this thread, but who was the buyer months ago who bought at least 10 9.8's of this book for over a $1000 each and then was scrambling to sell them to make half of the purchase price back?
