Put a few hours of game time into Far Cry 2 today... it is an honest to goodness pleasant game to feel, the vehicle chase scenes are very fun and man, if you start a fie, you better get out of there quick cause it spreads amongst the dry African grass incredibly fast.

Impressive.

I was afraid I might not be able to find a copy today, but I got the last one Walmart had.

I cannot play L4D2 because of all the hillbilly zombies... too many 'wroaayeeehaaawrrrrrhh'.

The next couple of months are going to be the best Q1 ever (assuming you have a PS3 or 360) ... one blockbuster after another.

Wii Sports Resort. For me, it could not be more fun. I love the basketball.

I have made Miis that look like Magic, Bird, Kobe and Dr. J. My daughter made one that looks like Micheal Jackson, his name is KingOfPop.

Are racing games big over in the US?

I'm playing Forza 3 at the mo and it is sweeeeeeter than Jessica Alba in honey. The graphics are nuts, especially with replays and things it looks very real. Plus being able to rewind stops you from having to play the same race again. I'm losing alot of possible time on the board to this game! ha ha!

I downloaded Super Mario "The Lost Levels": the Japanese version of Super Mario 2, which translated into English means "Mario game that will kick your a**." I did a trick to get around 100 lives in level 1-1 and I'm on 4-1 now and I've got like 6 left. I can see why they thought it was too difficult to release in the USA back in the day.

Still chippiing away on WiiSports (on level 19 of 20 on swordplay showdown!).

Currently playing Star Ocean 2 on PSP and Lego Indiana Jones on Xbox 360.

Star Ocean is cool. Typical JRPG fare so far.

Lego Indy is great fun. I never liked the films much but when turned into a puzzle/beat-em-up with cut scenes done in a slapstick silent movie style it is great. Plus it has enough collections - characters, treasure chests, idols, postcards - to satisfy the obsessive compulsive in me. Plus it has Lego which instantly ups the cool factor by at least 1000 points.

DUDE!

That was included in the Super Mario All-Stars for SNES and I always started that b*tch with the Game Genie and it still kicked my shiny white behind.

The Lost Levels was the original SMB2 in Japan but it was deemed too hard for the west so they gave us the dumbed down SMB2.

I think they were right about it.

SMB2 was just a reskin of another game too. A guy wearing a turban and an arab princess were the equivalent of Mario & Peach.

6 lives? Game Genies? What is this "Lost Levels Mario" you speak of? I don't recall hearing of it. I don't recall wasting hours of my life trying to get past that fireball. I don't think I ever had trouble with that one koopa troopa and the pit. Nope. I don't recall it.

I know I'm a little late with this, but I started playing Assassin's Creed. I can't believe I actually put off playing this game. The story, graphics and gameplay are unbelievable! I know I'll be looking forward to playing part 2 once I am done with this. :P
