I know how to put photobucket pics in, but really large pics, I'm not too sure.

Okay, here's what I do when I need to put in multiple pictures and eBay will only let me have one. I upload my scans/pics to photobucket or an account like it. Once they're uploaded you copy the HTML code.

Here's where it gets a little tricky. I always give the literal description 1st and then put in the pics. If you notice in the description area, there are two tabs, one labeled 'Standard' and the other 'HTML'. Write your description as you want it in the 'Standard' tab. When you go paste the HTML code for your pics, go to the 'HTML' tab. Everything should transfer from one to the other. You'll see what you've written as it appears in HTML.

Simply paste the picture code (or codes if you have more than one) in the HTML section and after you're done pasting the codes, go back to the standard tab and, again, everything should transfer. You can then arrange your pics as you'd like in the standard tab, like spacing or centering your pics like I do. If a picture did not get put in, simply copy and paste again. Pay close attention to the HTML code for proper placement.

You should be able to post as many pics as you want at no extra cost.

I don't know how this will help you post big scans, depending on how big you want them. Maybe you need a different image hosting account because Photobucket only lets you do oh so large a pic.

I make mine in word first, using photobucket for the image hosting, then post the whole thing into ebay.

There are several ways, but this is what I use.
Easy how to post big pixs on eBay without paying pix fees.
1. Host your pics on photobucket.
2. Copy the pixs html code that is below the pix.
3. Paste the html code in Describe the item you're selling, at this point you have to work between standard and the html tabs.
4. After you paste the html code switch back to the standard tab and click on the pix and you can stretch the pix and make it bigger.
It is an extra couple of steps, but after you do a couple its not so bad.
5. Separate each pix with html paragraph code.
Example of bigger pixs, no fees.

Timing is everything on eBay, check terapeak to see the best time to list your item. Check the calender, you don't want to end on a holiday.
Misspell when doing a search, I was in need of a convertible top for my auto and convertable saved me about $400!
I always use an auction first time around, if it don't sell then put it in a 30 day buy it now.

It depends. For modern books and commons, I usually scan them at 100dpi. All bronze and silver age books are scanned at 300 dpi.
