Now I'd have to say its the Valiant related stuff I have. Posters, promo items, art, just mics Valiant "stuff". The kind of thing you need to be a member of this board to even know about.
Five and a half years later, let me say I can relate to this, though in a New Universe sort of way. The New Universe stuff I'm proudest to own runs along these lines, as it's the rare non-comic book stuff.

I have a Magnus sendaway uncut shet, and a chromium rookie 6-card uncut. I'm still looking for a Unity sheet.
What's the "Akira chromium sheet"?
Nice bump, Iggster! I love some of these old threads. :thumb:

Maybe, but you think we would have heard more about it if that were the case. Hopefully ckb sees this and can elaborate.

He said he got it from Kevin VanHook earlier in the thread so that's why I think it could be Valiant-related.

my chaos effect cloissonne pin that mr. layton himself took off his tie and gave to me a herocon in charlotte in 94. (there's a pic of it on greg's site)
i've never seen another one.
i think he told me it was something they were toying around with like gold logo books...maybe since bob's a member now he can shed some light on it.
that's a pretty cool story. :thumb:

Does anyone have anymore info on that particular pin? I've got one but how rare are they? Does anyone have any production numbers like we've got for the bronze and silver rings? And how about the 4 gold pins?

Right now my favorite Valiant possession is my XO ring.

There are lots of other things that I would save in a fire first but,..... I like to wear it.

Nothing wrong with that. At the first sign of danger, you can call the good skin to come to your aid.....

I would have to say i'm proudest to now have a copy of the elusive Magnus #0, thanks to my wonderful friends here on ValiantFans! It is the non-card version, but just to have it and to be able to read it along with the amazing early Magnus issues is just a pleasure to behold!

I agree J.

My carded copy is one of my favorite regular books. Just for what it stands for.

The FIRST O.G. Valiant hero story. :thumb:

You do realize that as this addiction grows, you will have to get all the variants, right?

I'm probably currently proudest of my color art collection. I feel I own some very attractive and key pieces. See my gallery for some of the ones I have scanned.

Here's my favorite right now. Dave Cockrum is well-known for working on the X-Men. However he did work on 2 Valiant issues - Harbinger Files #1 and Turok Yearbook. Unfortunately, Dave passed away at the age of 63 in 2006 from diabetes and pneumonia.

Harbinger Files #1 page 12. Pencilled by Dave Cockrum and inked by Gonzalo Mayo
