That's the way I am thinking about most any game...

A cool game could be set in feudal-era Japan, a mix of action, fighting, and sword-fighting...

:D

Part of Red Steel is set in Japan. It made for some cool scenes. I'm looking forward to Red Steel II.

:hm:

I need to start a "trade up" post somewhere, start with $1 and end up with a Wii.....

From what I've read, Super Mario Bros for the Wii will be available in time for Christmas this year. :thumb: I predict they'll FLY off the shelves.

Heck, I bet Nintendo sees a spike of new system sales for all those 360 owners who now want to play old-school Mario on a new multi-player system with improved graphics. :thumb: again.

Yeah, I'll bet the sales will be pretty good on this one.

Castlevania is a great series, I would love to see another game made.

I was excited to hear about Castlevania: Judgement for the Wii, until I found out it was just a fighting game. What a disappointment.

It will come. With the popularity of the DS games and the XBLA re-releases of the older games it is only a matter of time before we get more Castlevania goodness.

I think the technology has significantly improved to the point where 2-d games won't feel as much of a "retread" as some have felt they started to become back in the day. This new Maro looks stunning. The new Metroid, which appears to be a mixture of 2-d and 3-d, also looks very promising. A new Castlevania would be fantastic. A new oldschool-style StreetFighter or, maybe, Streets of Rage, done on the Wii would be a killer app. The backgrounds, character animations, sounds, music, interactivity and such have all advanced to the point where I think there could be a resurgence of these sorts of games. In fact, if it continues, I wouldn't be surprised to see some companies re-release older games with updated graphics. Can you imagine a Wii version of Super Metroid?

The graphics from the fighting game look pretty cool, too bad they didn't go all of the way and make it a full fledged Castlevania title. It would have probably been one of their best selling games.

I saw it at LBCC. If I was not so busy I would have played. It looked super cool.

It does look very cool, but I'm more excited about Super Mario Galaxy II.
