Who is Aug002?
Does he have unlimited pockets? Practically every high price Valiant auction I see he is the winner for.
Man, I guess the only way I am going to get some VVSS issues is by lucking into them in a store. A little frustrating for a grad student with a 10 month old daughter who is just trying to complete a collection. Maybe I should wait another 5 years when the 2nd Valiant craze dies down a little bit (assuming it will!)

Yeah, when your a seller he's freaking awesome. When you try to buy he's a living nightmare. I have had the privelege to snatch a Harbinger #0 pink for $30 after he was the highest bidder one time. I'm not sure how I won but I still wear the badge of "outbidding aug002" with priden6 wrote:Aug002 is a freakin' cool person, period. I sold him some stuff and is went perfect. That's it. Aug002 is cool.

Yea me to, I've taken Aug002 to task on occasion and left him empty handed.whetteon wrote:Yeah, when your a seller he's freaking awesome. When you try to buy he's a living nightmare. He is a cool dude! He buys from me on occasion and he is always great!
He just bought 10 copies of something from my ebay store in the last few weeks. The GOAT if I remember right...
Anyway, he is great to sell items to! He pays promptly and there is NEVER a problem.
I have been emailing a dingleberry for the last week who bought over $100.00 worth of books from me over 2 weeks ago and said they would send me a money order. They didn't answer my email so I sent reminders for all the items they won. If they don't respond soon I will have no other choice but to zap them with non-paying bidder alerts and then ebay strikes along with negative feedback. I HATE doing it, but what choice do I have, right?
Well, that was a little
, but like I said, aug002 is GREAT to deal with and I wish ALL my customers were like him!!

Who was that young whetteon who posted above? I hardly recognize him through all the innocence. The modern whetteon is a harden *SQUEE* who lives for the handful of variants still left on his list (as doublesdavid_albuq wrote:![]()
For those of us who've been on these boards for a spell, this post is pretty funny!
Almost like a whole 'nuther generation of board members wondering, "Who IS this guy?"

Not yet Joey, but when I am I'll be sure and let the board know.David...you ready to sell that Ninjak art yet?? man that piece is badass!
You know the thing is currently sitting in my closet. What with all the photos I've taken in the past year or so, the 'ol Ninjak promo piece just doesn't have the allure it once had.
It's cool though and not quite ready to part with my favorite Quesada art.

I have two of the same Ninjak prints that you have in that image. It's the same as the X-O print but for some reason it's not on Gregs site. The came with COAs and were also signed by Joey Da Q. One will eventually be for sale with some of my other stuff I'll be putting on ebay pretty soon.
It looks like you matte framed yours though and put it with a Ninjak 1 or gold edition or something, because they weren't solicited like that...
