Good for him.

I think he made the right move in selling for that price. Trying to hold out for more may have ended up costing him in the long run. Especially since the prices seem to be on a downward spiral on the high dollar books.

I'm in total agreement with you on this.

Making 2k on any modern error book is just unheard of.

Now with 2k you could buy a Hulk 181 cgc at 9.2/9.4 and in the long term would be a much more stable investment than a BS Plat (imo).

Anyways way to go dude :thumb:

I'd buy a CGC 5.0 X-Men #1 for that coin!

Thanks guys. I see the news that I accepted an offer of $2000 broke over a week ago but I wasn't ready to count my chickens before they hatched (and cleared Canadian customs). The sale went through, buyer received the Bloodshot platinum and left me positive feedback. I'm giddy as a schoolgirl.

Thanks a ton for the folks that helped me with this. I'll still pop my head in here every once in a while but it probably shows I'm not as dedicated a Valiant fan as some members.

Quick question though: I have some idea of the work and often financial commitment it can require to run a great fan-fueled site and forum like this. The charitable work and fund drives are especially impressive and I figured the least I could do to thank all you folks was drop a small donation towards the running of the site. But unlike most fan-based forums, I can't seem to find any links or suggestions on how to do this. The question I seem to be taking too long to get to is this: do the admins/owners just have a handle on these costs and donations aren't welcome? Or is there a link/thread/explanation somewhere I haven't found?

I basically lucked into a great run of cards. I want to keep my karma rosy and tip the dealer who made it all possible if I can.
