If you could get two of these three games
for the price of $20 each, what would you get ?
Here are your choices:
Assassin's Creed II
Dragon Age: Origins
Left 4 Dead 2
You can only get two of the three at that price... which ones and why ?

Dragon Age: Origins is the only game that I want right now. I've bought and currently reading the prequel novel Dragon Age: The Stolen Throne and I've completely pre-paid for the limited edition strategy guide and come tomorrow I plan to deposit the money into my checking account to get the limited edition of Dragon Age: Origins for the Xbox 360 from gamestop.com (which was the only way I could find to get to the limited edition).
Now originally I was only buying DAO to get Blood Dragon Armor DLC that can be used in DAO and Mass Effect 2 (and to say I want that game is an understatement) because I really didn't pay much attention to DAO but when I started looking and reading about DAO it sounded like a game that I was going to love.
A complex story with tough moral decisions in a new fantasy universe, different back stories your character, violent and bloody action, freaky monsters, Tim Curry and Kate Mulgrew doing the voices of two characters, and two really hot girls that your character can have sex with. Seriously what more does a RPG need?

Yeah, I think that last night I nailed it down to just DA:O as well... just so that I can get knee deep into ONE game and appreciate it. Game Stop had a special 'turn in two (certain) games and get one of those games (plus others) for only $20.
Right now Demon's Souls has me pretty engrossed so more than one game at a time would be a waste, I just wanted to save money and besides, I have not finished the first Left 4 Dead nor Assassin's Creed.
WATCH OUT PLAYING DEMON'S SOULS TODAY... THE CREATORS MADE THE GAME MUCH HARDER FOR TODAY, IT BEING 'ALL HALLOWS EVE AND ALL'.

His Gf is majorly into here horror movies and to be fair im not that botherd or scared by much.
We had a chat about it as we watched Dawn of the Dead.
Basically most of what is passed as horror nowadays is merely suspense thrillers or gorefests.
Each to their own i guess on horror.
Ill go track down your recommendation though, so cheers

I agree recent horror tends to be pretty poor. Especially the gore-porn like the Saw and Hostel movies.Draco wrote:Ok dude, ill run that past the movie master Drift.ian_house wrote:Check out Drag Me to Hell that came out this year. Hmm... probably Assassin's Creed II and Dragon's Age.
I didn't get too into the first AC, but it was fun enough, and I like Bioware in general, so I'd probably roll with Dragon's Age. Left 4 Dead didn't do it for me; I felt like RE5 pulled off the whole "massive waves of zombies" thing with a little more finesse.

Well I have not finished the first Left 4 Dead and I am really enjoying it but this one is set in Louisiana (?) and well the one redneck in the bunch is a bit annoying and I 'swear' that the zombies have a 'southern growl' and just playing it got on my nerves, I guess... the demo was set during the daytime as well and just didnt have that 'oh my God, oh my God, oh my God factor' to it that this one does. In Left 4 Dead, I get jumpy as hell and for good reason but Left 4 Dead 2 just is not doing it for me. Luscious graphics though but still, same old zombie, different day. A couple new ones and a supposed 'plot' this time (which is my HUGE problem with the first game, no real cut scenes, you are just thrown into it with writing on safe house walls to give you any indication of WTF is going on... but then again, it is that unknowing that gives it that 'edge'. You don't even have a compass to 'guide' you when you are supposed to go. You go left or right... and pray.tssgery wrote:mmmmm. Why is that?Knightt wrote:I've played the Left 4 Dead 2 demo...
I won't be buying that one even when it goes down in price.
sorry, Papa...myron wrote:youngster...gotcha by almost 9 months...Knightt wrote:I narrowed it down to Dragon Age: Origins and then it only cost (my wife) $14.00 and change, for some reason I was allowed to use my Edge card. DA and creed

Out of all the smack I was giving COD: MW2 earlier... my wife hands me a receipt that has the purchase of COD: MW2 on it. So, I guess I AM getting it after all. I didn't figure that the wife would remember my ritual. There is more to that gal than a great rack and super-fine looks... geez, I am WAY outta my league with this woman and how I was able to con her into marrying me AND mating with me, is just beyond me.
