Yes, I finally got a copy of Fallout 3 again but there are so many more I am looking into and finally they have arrived i.e. Playstation 3 Demon Souls, Uncharted 2 and on Xbox 360: Dragon Age: Origins (CAN'T wait for that on Nov 3rd, Borderlands, Assassin's Creed II, Left for Dead II, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 geez, and the list could go on... I may be off work (in and out of the hospital/ER until Nov26... should give me SOME time if I can get these and those that I have but yes, my fingers still work.... my problem is just staying awake, I get so damn tired.

Lord, I really must be in the doldrums or depressed... I'm sorry. Maybe I should go.

Dude, i wouldnt be surprised about any way you felt right now and certainly cannot relate.
I just want you to do what makes you feel best right now, as long as its not any more strenuous than lying down being pampered where possible.

It is SO hard just lying around, my mind is going a mile a minute and I don't need the 'down time'.

When I was in hospital a few years back all I wanted to do was get up and about. I couldn't sit still. My mind was on the go and I just needed to do something, anything. I knew (after my transfer, at least) that I was in a bad way but try telling that to an overactive imagination. I know what it is like.

Movies, video-games, comics and books can only sustain an illusion of accomplishment for so long.

Have you tried writing? Maybe something a semi-autobiographical could come in handy here. I know you have had a lot of experiences and maybe sitting down and just getting your feelings out will make you feel better, even if nobody is ever going to read it but you.

I've kind of thought of that but sitting at a terminal or even a console puts me to sleep. I must be regressing because I have felt bad all weekend and now can't seem to stay awake. This week I am to have a stomach scope, maybe we will see something there.

I can only imagine having a surgery now where I have to stay IN the hospital for a while (I dont know how long) but I think surgery is in the near future. Well the last time I was in the hospital was for them putting rods/screws on my spine... I had that done on a Thursday morning (9 hour surgery), I didn't like the hospital (or just being there) that I WALKED out of the hospital and to my SUV to have my wife drive me home from Tucson (one hour drive) on Friday afternoon. Doc said go #1 two times and #2 once and walk the length of the room.... so I did it and left. I didnt figure that when I reached the house that I would vomit from being in so much pain. It was a bad time. I just hope that there is no long hospital stay. I mean, I go there and I expect treatment, not to wait around and no matter what p!ss in a urinal because I am hooked up to IVs and waiting 4 freakin' hours for a pain shot stronger than morphine to get me back to a functional state.

We will see how things go... really at this point I just want to get better as uncontrolled/'we don't know where it is' internal bleeding is never good but I think I am a pint low or so at least I feel that way right now. BUT right now I am so riled up I can't sleep and this is after my nightime medicine which could knock out a T-Rex. I already take enough pain meds and stuff to keep me asleep that I am labled 'hard to sedate'. Well tonight is one of those night, so I am going back to bed and snuggle with my wife, touch her hair or something until I can fall asleep. Sometime, I bring Alyssa into bed with us, so that I can hold her as she LOVES to snuggle and to feel her breath against my cheek as I hold her is heaven to me. I try to stay as still as possible so as not to wake anyone which leaves me lying there in pain but it is all worth the touch of your daughter as she dreams.

Am I rambling or what ? hehehe ah well it is just about 1 am, the house is quiet, typing shouldnt bother anyone.
