Parody Rarity?

Post by X-O Dudeowar »

Hey that rhymes! Kinda. Or not.

Anyway, are those parodies listed particularly rare? I check eBay fairly regularly and they don't seem to pop up much, and I don't think I've seen any of the VALIANT-related ones in store archives. I'm trying to hunt 'em down, but it seems like it's taking a long time, longer than getting most actual VALIANT issues!

They Def. are pretty rare to come up on the bay, suprisingly. I sold a few of mine recently for 10 each. I only have the BloodShot Ones now as I plan to put them in my bound collections as a nice little bonus.

I think the only one i need is the Impunity issue that i know of.
In the UK you will only find them in cheap bins if you find them or part of collections.
Most of mine came from a collection and i picked a couple up this year in 50p bins.

Im pretty sure that they arent easy to get and condition is the bummer as they are never treated well.

You can get a number of them from the big online stores right now for under $2 each. At least the last time I checked.

They used to pop up on ebay all the time a few years back. Not so much anymore, eh?

Ebay is good for most things, but stuff like this for me is the bargain way only.
$10 isnt bad for something HTF, but as its just a silly Parody ( and some of them are actually very funny) i cant do more than £1.00.

Drfit and i read the Youngspud and it really was a great funny book and obviosly so much better than the book it ripped, but then saying that my 6 year old could make a better book.

I actually did just nab Bloodyhot and S.O.F.T. Corps in a recent purchase I made on eBay, but it was the first time I had seen the latter pop up in a while. I don't think I've ever seen, say, O-X Cowowar pop up though.

Maybe eBay is just the wrong place to look for 'em, I dunno.

Over a year ago I picked up most of these in a big lot of those parody and spoof comics.
