Defiant - The Good Guys (the REAL ones)
Hey there Defiant-heads (all three of you...j/k
)
I still haven't finished reading the end of the Defiant run (probably because I really don't want it to end...lol)
But I was wondering if anyone has read or seen anything about the real people that The Good Guys were based on...as far as where they are now and what they're doing now?
Just curious

I still think Warriors of Plasm, most specifically 0-4 is still my favorite of the company; I shed tears over it...hahahaha.StarBrand wrote:Good question. I hope someone can answer that! Just wanted to say that was my favorite Defiant title.
But "The Good Guys" has emotionally been a close 2nd, because of the realism in the children, and the really cool aspect that all the characters are based on real kids. The connection of Flex/Laura with the real-life girl is just sweet and kind! The story arc of Laura getting beaten down by that nasty blonde(?) guy almost made me angry! I still haven't read the return of the first kid villain they fought on up to issue 9. Can't wait!
I concur with you about Good Guys wholeheartedly. For some reason I couldn't get into Warriors Of Plasm. I really wanted to, I just couldn't.JonesyAZ wrote:I still think Warriors of Plasm, most specifically 0-4 is still my favorite of the company; I shed tears over it...hahahaha.StarBrand wrote:Good question. Dark Dominion is quite bad-@$$. The thing about Shooter's writing/ideas that I think was really prominent in Defiant is that his characters had flaws and/or were not what one would typically think would be super-hero material. Like Glimmer, who was a struggling, middle-aged man. And "Mouse" having only one arm. It's just awesome. Very "outside the box"
