You have 30 minutes to beat a level on extreme; I finished one with six seconds to spare. On another I had 500 fricking failures and it made me start over. The speed and jumps on the easier levels are a lot of fun though.

Right now, finished the Simpsons but still working on some achievements (it's not very good), getting into Burnout Revenge, around 3/4 (I think) done with Puzzle Quest, working on Lego Indiana Jones (over 1/2 done w/ story), and occasionally mixing in some Rock Band or Overlord.

I bought the Simpsons game for my daughter last Christmas and ended up playing the game myself when she was done with it. I thought it was the best Simpsons game so far. It had quite a few hilarious bits throughout the game.

While true, that's not a very high bar. I mildly enjoyed it, but was frustrated, mostly at the controls being ridiculously loose. It had humorous moments.

Yeah, I hear what you're saying. It's not exactly a "must play" type of game, but I found it surprisingly fun and imaginative for the most part.

I'm definitely a lover of The Simpsons but the clunky play just didnt make it worth it for me.

I just traded in the newest Wolfenstein and Guitar Hero 5, wow, what a disappointment.

I am sure that Halo: ODST out here in a few days will make up for it and hell, Batman is still kicking along.

The Beatles Rock Band is a VERY good stand alone project, as long as you are a Beatles fan (I am). The unlocking of never before seen photos, footage, music cuts and such make it very rewarding but the game is SO UNFORGIVING, you miss that note... you MISS IT. But this gives one a chance to REALLY break down music from the Beatles. Notes and riffs that have been overlooked for years are now very important and bring the music to a deeper level. The band was truly ahead of it's time.

I beat it, already turned it back in... 'wow, do I lose money on these deals'. But I am too impatient to go Ebay and my track record on video game transactions on the boards here is not at 100% success rate.

I have $14 left to pay on Halo: ODST then will pick up the Fallout 3 (w/ all that downloadable content) in October and then I will be good for a bit.

and woud love to get back on InFamous, Prototype, Wolverine: Origins and Spider-Man: Web of Shadows.

And for some reason "Saints Row 2" and "Mini-Ninjas" is looking mighty good. hehehehe

Oh yeah, I am working my way through "Army of Two" again, just this time on the 360.

I am stuck as hell on World at War !!! So, that is on indefinate hold.

Finished Wet, weird 1970s-style Kill Bill sort of game. Not bad, but funky controls and got repetitive. Just started up Mini Ninjas. A little more of a kids game than I thought it would be but it's pretty fun. After that, Halo ODST.

After two days, I have gotten the hang of all the Wii Sports games, although I still can't come in under par on all the courses in Golf. I just wish there was a good hockey game. I am not a 2K fan. At least, I didn't like them back in the day, so I am leery of trying the games they have for Wii. Mario Kart is still amazing.

Good call. It's got some great moments but it takes a while to warm up. The middle third of the game is a lot of fun, though.

I'm an old pro at Mario Kart. I've been playing this series in all its incarnations since the SNES days. Checking some of the official records, I have slightly better times on several of the SNES and N64 games, including Wario Stadium and Ghost House on N64. Wall & Floor jumps are my friend.

(I miss them in this one) I look forward to some REAL challenges.
