That is NORTHERN Jersey for *SQUEE*. Down here near Philly we just say *SQUEE*.

No, they really run around screaming "Hoo-ah!" The USMC started out by screaming "OOO-RAH!" and the Army wanted their own word so they could be like the Jar-Heads. Unfortunately, nobody told the Rangers who started this that the word they chose means a New England hooker or is just a general euphemism for vagina.
