MALEV WAR
Hi! Is there anywhere that I can see a list of all the issues that made up the Malev War? I've already read quite a few issues of Magnus and Rai & The Future Force. The story rocks so far!

A pretty common book to get, but yes, it's a key book for that storyline.JonesyAZ wrote:The huge bummer is that I don't have Magnus 38, which is apparently the conclusion, right? AAARRGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!turborip wrote:Yes...and I have just completed my Malev run too. I may have to break that out this weekend and read it all straight through!

Is it really better to lay out the RFF books like this?[/b]iggy101us wrote:Magnus Robot Fighter 21 - 24, Rai and the Future Force(RFF) 9, 25, RFF 10 - 11, 26 - 29, RFF15, 30, RFF 16, 31, RFF 17, 32 - 33, RFF 18, 34, RFF19, 35, RFF 20, 36, RFF 21, 37, RFF 22 - 23, 38 Courtesy of Steve Topper![]()

That's probably for the best. Once Giffen took over, he pretty much destroys anything good that was left in the title.turborip wrote:That's what I keep hearing, and after some of the art I've seen in a handful of later issues, I decided to stop there. No Birthquake or Giffen for me!Daniel Jackson wrote:Wasn't nearly as bad as what's to come.....superman-prime wrote:pretty sad for the most part but good tidbits here and there

To be "safe"-mentally and emotionally-it is best to stop at Magnus # 48, which is the last issue before it totally falls off the rails. Ok, no, it doesn't fall, it gets up a head of steam and jumps straight into the abyss AND does this somewhere in between issues 48 & 49. That isn't to say there is NOTHING decent from 49-64, but as a whole, it stinketh mighty...and yes, what is there that does not suck is at BEST only "decent".JonesyAZ wrote:So, being that I am a noob to Valiant...lol...should I buy the entire run of Magnus, or stop at a certain issue? I would certainly like to eventually own an entire run of *VALIANT (1991-1996)*, but if I could stop at a certain point maybe to save some dough, let me knowI'm a poet, and didn't even know it?!?

I mean, are you REALLY NOT going to want to read all of it? You will always wonder! LOL.. well, I know I would!
You can grab most of those books for $1 or so.. so why not?
