The glove does come from the tiger fist, but it is also a modern Kester (SP, Roman boxing glove used by gladiators.)

Now the onesi with the steel whip....Ummm want to make him fruity?

So if it's a plus one magic shield does it count towards the THAC0 or the damage roll?

(Uses his level 40 black mage to give Hobo the evil eye) Umm...I think that depends on whether you are using 1st, 2nd or 3rd edition rules.

Hey there, Wild One, I think you're mixing your movie references. Got a bit lost out on the Sierra Madre, eh

Yeah, I love weapons. I am the manliest fruit I know. Well besides my friend josh who is in the national guard, and is waiting for orders to deploy to Afghanistan.

Yes and No. I appreciate man powered ones more. Mainly it is the training involved takes a lot more dedication than learning how to use a fire arm. My grand dad taught me how to box for 3 years when I was 7 and I was barley past the brawler stage. When I got my first bow I had a beginners composite bow with next to no draw weight. Well a year with that and I got to the point where I could hit targets, and my grouping was good for a kid. I graduated to a long bow (really I became tall enough to use it.) I never went past the Long bow because mine became like an extension of my body. It was a real shame when my mom moved, and tossed it thinking that I would never use it again. (she had this place with a HUGE yard, and moved to a small place with NO yard.)

I find guns interesting, but I just don't think there is as much skill to them. When I used my bow I had to think about wind, air temp, distance, the force I was using. The onlt time that comes into play with a rifle is if you have to snipe something from REALLY far away.

I like the one about Cagney. However, he came VERY close to saying that line, ONCE. It was in One, Two, Three. Don't ask me where, but he goes "That So? Why, You dirty r-" and then gets cut off. The film moves so fast that it is NOT easy to detect it. I think I only noticed it on the second trip through.

I always attributed the prevalence of "May the Force Be With You" not to the movie itself but to the tons of posters, t-shirts and disco music take-offs that came out shortly after the release of Star Wars in '77-'78. It either had "Star Wars," "MTFBWY," or "DARTH VADER," (those were the big 3 on t's and posters, there were others like R2/3PO shirts, etc.)
I remember seeing that phrase everywhere at the time, and there's another example of the well of useless knowledge stored in my head. :thumb:

BTW, "MTFBWY" usually had Obi-Wan's head and shoulders placed above it, IIRC.

And this was the first Star Wars related item I ever had:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_ ... actic_Funk
I'm not sure if it really even qualifies . . . The jacket art looks like Adam Strange got trapped in Xanadu while Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers are trying to fly in and get some too.

I don't think you can count the Dath Vader misquote. The shot one thing in case the video leaked. Then fixed it with the real line later.
