Well, it appears that at least one of the "three" H1's tripleheet is selling was purchased from eBay.
I think he just has the one, and the quantity associated with the listing is an oversight from "cut and paste" with his DVD listings.
And he has not answered my request for the serial number. I'm sure it will match the one he bought a few weeks ago.

I will ask him if he has 3 for sale (hopefully he answers). If he says just 1 copy, then it's mostly certainly the copy he recently bought.ckb wrote:Well, it appears that at least of the "three" H1's tripleheet is selling was purchased from eBay.

New auction listed, $0.99 min bid, no reserve. This is going to be interesting!

Might not reach its full potential - no foreign bids allowed (just good for me, I need to save).iggy101us wrote:New auction listed, $0.99 min bid, no reserve. This is going to be interesting!

he can still cancel any amount of bids up to twelve hours before and cancel the item so no real risk really.Daniel Jackson wrote:He's taking quite a chance by listing it like that in this economy.
Im pretty sure considering the info in this thread alone that the days of crazy prices on these books are long gone.
maybe they will reach such heights again, but not for a few years.
This latest one will eithre sell for around $500 or get cancelled in the last day.
If by some miracle it does go the distance it might end up in the lap of a very happy board member for a good price.

The new one really looks like a superb copy. The upper and lower spine bindery corners are very clean. I can't discern much flaking on the spine at all, but the angle isn't the best for that. The outer corners look very clean. Looks clean around the upper staple, can't see the lower. And it's in an old-style inner well.
There don't appear to be any hold-downs used in the inner well, though, so hopefully it's in there pretty snug so it can't move around.
edit:
Now I see the upper staple on the back cover scan. Looks good too. A little off on placement but the QP is still very good.
