I restarted Halo 3 a couple days ago... I'll be damned if that isn't a pretty good game. It was VERY hard to start off and stay alive and all this weapon swapping is a pain in the *SQUEE* but I got pretty good at swiping my teamates standard issue weapons. I don't get how you can pump a full clip into some of thes bad guys and they are still standing and talking smack.

Driving the warthog is a blast, tricky but fun. Graphics are by far one of the best frames per second game on the market and after dusting this one off, I just may have it completed in time for Halo: ODST which is looking VERY nice from the game videos that I have seen. I mean playing a Spartan is pretty nifty and powerful but this looks more like a behind the lines, unconventional, special forces warfare type of game with a very solid story line. But that is coming out later this year, right now is going to be a focus on Wolfenstein (HIGHLY anticipated game for me as the PC version just blew me away back then) which hits the streets next week on the 18th and THEN on 25AUG09, Batman: Arkham Asylum the week after that... I am sure that I will be totally immersed in the Batman game for a weeks after it's release, it looks VERY promising. I am going the extra bills and getting the full on collectors edition. I LOVE the voice acting in just the demo, so I can't wait for the full on game.

I've been needing something like this for a long time and I have learned to 'wait' on some games and not pick them up on the first day. I had HIGH hopes for Rise of the Argonauts and while it is visually pleasing, it is something that I will be trading in to gamestop and unfortuneatly ge happy for get $8 bucks for it or so.

Has anybody played around with the new Xbox 360 dashboard ? I find it to be an incredible improvement. Yeah great, I can dress up my avatar in a COG outfit to include helmet but that is really just a waste of money. What I find REALLY pleasing is the Netflicks upgrade. Movies are even being presented in HD for FREE !!! I mean we have a Netflicks membership and it follows over to the 360 as well. So, I can bring up quite a few new and more so older movies to view on demand through streaming video. Even on the HD movies (which DO look grea), I have had NO problems, no stutter, no waiting for the movie to buffer and a nice function is that when I shut down the movie and systems, I can start it up the next day, go to the movie and it will start off exactly where I left off. Very nice update.

If I could find some dudes to play World at War, I'd love to play the zombie co-op, multiplayer sessions. From what I have seen the Zombie Factory is downright disturbing, hehehehe. I've played the first two maps and need to download the Zombie Swamp and then the factory. If anyone is up for a game and has a headset, dude we are in business. When I have played the first map with friends of mine at work, my wife had to come in and tell me to keep it down. You get to shouting and $hit... "THERE ARE IN THE BUILDING, THEY ARE IN THE FREAKIN' BUILDING... OH CRAP, I NEED AMMO... WTF IS THIS ? A MONKEY BOMB ?"

LOTS of fun and mayhem to be had.

I'd play Halo 3 online but I quickly got too p!ssed off at the 12 year olds on their telling me how they were gonna 'do' my dad in the *SQUEE* and other trash talking... rude little *SQUEE*, well and they ARE good at the game as well but the maturity level on their sucks, you should be able to pair up with a group dependant on age.

So, if anyone is up for some Halo or better yet, World at War zombie style, please just LMK.

And if you have a PS3 and have not purchased InFamous yet ? You are missing out, my friends. By far one of the best PS3 exclusive games out there and just downright fun. Beautiflu graphics, incredible frames per second, short load times and all around GREAT game... oh and I forgot, it has mega re-play value, play as a good guy and the play as a bad guy. Playing the bad guy should be a blast but it is my nature to play 'the good guy' so I went that way but I know that.

I did a recent game trade with depluto, I can't wait to try those out... he was cool enough to even throw in an extra game, so I should be busy for quite a while, so much so that I doubt I will take any college this summer semester.

I DO have a problem with my 360 through... I get the 360 magazine and it comes with a demo/stuff disc every month. Well I upgraded my 'backward compatibility' just for kicks (even though it has not been updated since Nov 07) and now I do not hve the ability to play any of my old regular or otherwise known as LEGACY games. I really want to play The Punisher and Ultimate Spider-Man and finally finish up Rogue Trooper... so far no joy and after spending 4 hours with tech support they want me to send my system into them.... with Batman coming out in just about two weeks, yeah right !!!

I now regret letting go of Fallout 3 and Left 4 Dead... I can't even find them cheap. If anybody has either of the two, I am eager to trade games for games or trade cash for games as.... just an outcalling for those two.

I've always thought Halo 3 was a pretty solid game. I don't think it was given anywhere near the props it deserved seeing as now it's all about Gears of War. I regarded Halo as more of an arcade style shooter which is what made it so much fun and the co-on there is just great! I'm so glad that they added the online co-op for this time around.

I'm still on the fence about ODST... is it just going to be DLC or will they offer a physical disc (like with Watchmen)

That's why I don't trade games in... it seems you never get anything near what you paid for them and then they mark it up to double or triple what they pay for it. I'd rather just let it sit around and collect dust.

I love the new update (mainly just for the netflix). I never understood why you had to que from your computer in the first place. I watched some 35 minute preview on the update a few days ago on youtube and it seems like a lot of the updates are pretty neat... I like the avatar store, but I don't think I will ever actually pay for clothes or whatnot, but the idea of unlocking new outfits like achievements was VERY interesting. I'm really looking forward to when they do the update with facebook, twitter, and last.fm, though.

Did you try using the reset code? I had a problem with RE5 due to one of the updates and it fixed that. The downside is that it removes all your game updates so you'll have to redownload all of them as you play your games... it's not really that big of a deal, though.

That's why I'm not buying it... I still have my SNES and the Turtles in Time game, so I can't justify buying it again until it's REALLY cheap! :D I did love that game, though.

I had more fun with Battle Toads. I wish they would bring that game to the Wii.

Yeah it's a fantastic value for $50 bucks. The game itself has an absolutely insane amount of play/replay value and the Mii motion Plus (which goes for $20 at Walmart) is a great investment since there are a lot of games that will use it (the new Tiger Woods, Red Steel 2, etc).

Can't wait to see what it's like with Red Steel 2.

Speaking of Ninja Turtles, I actually thought that the UbiSoft TMNT PS2 game based on the recent CG movie was actually pretty good. The action was a bit repetitive here and there, but if you look closely you see that they actually prototyped the PS3 Prince of Persia mechanics with that game a bit.

The graphics are also fantastic and hold up surprisingly well even against some PS3 titles.

@ Knight-
If you didn't purchase any of the Fallout 3 dlc, there is a GOTY edition coming out in September or October w/ all five pieces on it ($60, but each dlc pack would be $10. From reading reviews, three are worth it, two are worth 3-5, but with the full game, pretty solid gaming value). And don't trade Argonauts to Gamestop, that just encourages them. Hang on till someone here has something else that shouldn't have been purchased for $60 to trade.

Yes, I had heard about that for Fallout but man, I want it NOW !!! hehehe BUT it does save room on the 120 gig HD to have it on disc. I KNEW I should not have traded that one away.... I should have held onto Left 4 Dead and Fallout.

I had such high hopes for Rise of the Argonauts and it turned out not to be my brew.

I think I will put a few games up for sale here on the boards, just to make room in my game case. OR just keep 'em around for the eventual achievements, hehehe. I am close to breaking the next 1,000 mark on the achievement score.

I DID just buy Shadow Complex... for a sidescroller, it sure is a lot of damn FUN. I bounce between that and Batman.

I also bought Shellshock 2: Blood Trails... basically Viet Nam shooter and throw in zombies. I'm pretty much done with it... anybody want to trade anything for it ?

I just downloaded the demo for 'Mini Ninjas'.... thing has me laughing so hard, I can't wait for September for the full release.

I WILL be buying the new Guitar Hero 5 and Rock Band: The Beatles when they come out... they look like they are gonna rock.

I've been itching for some new games, but I don't really keep up with the gaming news or read reviews or magazines so don't really know what is out there that I would like. So I downloaded a few demos on the 360 tonight including Wet and Mini-Ninjas. I haven't played Mini-Ninjas yet, but I did play the Wet demo. Pretty fun game! The controls took a while to get use to and it helped a bunch when I figured out how to reverse the Y axis. I only buy cheap used games, but I'll be keeping this one one my list of games to watch out for!

One exception I might make to cheap used games is The Beatles Rock Band!

Just got my xbox and having all those demos just there to download is so cool. Saves buying expensive magazines or buying duff games I won't play.

Been playing alot of PGA tour this week, I'm not a golf fan, but the games sure are addictive!

I fought hard against buying Guitar Hero 5 yesterday... it looks really good but I have 4-5 birthdays during the month of September and I have Halo: ODST on reserve so I am tapped on that one AND I need to save some money for some shipping expenses.

Still chipping away at odds and ends on Excitebots (Poker Races, Mirror Tracks, Unlockables, etc) and playing WiiSports resort (got Pro on Sword Dueling, everything else is in the 300-700 range). I'm kinda disappointed almost no one plays Excitebots Poker Races online. :(

I also downloaded Excitebike on the virtual console to get the beginnings of the Excite series. Great stuff (getting insane air in an 8-bit game is great) , but like a lot of old games, it's tough stuff. I can get to Track 4 (out of 5) on the solo play (Selection A) and Track 3 racing against CPU controlled oppenents (Selection B).

It is pretty fun but gets astonishingly hard by the last few levels. I mean really, really, really, really hard. Harder than my old man's liver.
