i was building a Valiant #1 9.8 collection, but my two CGC'd Harby #1's are only 9.2 and 9.6.

Wuss... starting the auction for the Harby 1 at $649.....

And WTF? Rai #3 CGC 9.8 with a $99 BIN, but the Rai #5 CGC 9.8 is $299???

I'd like to get one for myself but the current downward trend is very concerning.

I know it's a key book and value shouldn't really matter if you need it for a collection but seriously, this book has dropped huge over the past few months. I think I might wait until the next CGC census update. If there is another spike in the census I'll have to hold off even longer until I feel the market price fairly reflects the additional supply.

At the moment, I can't see that much of a support level even if people are still bidding at the $600 level.

They are lower because there are so many on ebay so quickly. That and most the valiant buying on ebay, is done from people on these boards, and if they arent buying the prices are much lower.

Does that really sell for that much?

hulk 181 is one of the biggest keys for 30 years now its big money in 9.6 or 9.8 all the time

This is a crazy price, but its that old leap to 9.8 that gets 'em.
What does the 9.6 go for and is this a similar example to the 9.6 to 9.8 Harby?
