End issue Logos.

Post by Orangeribbon »

I am making labels for my dividers, and I thought it would be a nice touch to have the end issue logos on the label. My scanner is not working ATM and I was sondering if anyone else had them.

That's actually an interesting idea. Why the end issues, though?

I think he's just wanting the big V logo that brandished the books in the last year of the original Valiant.

Ok. That makes sense. But, I like my idea

No like the X Logo for X-O, the Red Dot for Rai (cause I don't have the skill to recreate that.) or the A&a for Archer and Armstrong....etc. Basically the logo that was at the end of the story line. I just have some scotch taped on for temps right now. Thought it would just be a cute little touch if someone has a scanner, and some time. I think I have some labels around here, and I am sure one of my pals has to have an ink jet printer.

Okay second edit.

I think before they went to Acclaim comics they used the same logos on the side panels on the covers?

Yeah if someone could scan them at high res (like 400 PPI) it wouldn't take me to much time to trace them in Inkscape. then use Open office to make the labels. I could upload the finished project. Going from memory I think the only one that would be difficult would be Archer and Armstrong. Worse comes to worse, I could use my digital camera BUT if the angle is off it will scew the images.

XO looks a little off, Solar is actually good when it is the right size for the divider. I just blew these up to check for major mistakes. I am actually really happy with Shadowman.

Okay, did a couple more

for Bloodshot and Rai and the Future Force (a real hard one)

Ninjak

And we have PSI-Lords.

I know I need some higher res scans of a couple to get right.

I might just have to hook my laptop to the printer to get them.

Think I am going to try the Harbingers, New Rai, and something else.

I been doing some hoop jumping to donate this work to the CF fund. Who would donate like 2 or 3 dollars for a file, or more for premade ones?

Okay, just bumped a few off the list.

Just have to fix the knuckle on this

Image

Touched this up a bit.

Image

Here we go with the armorines

Image

Surprisingly harder than it looks because I took a while to tweak that Gradient. Geomancer

Image

Surprisingly easy... harbinger.

Image

This one was fun. Visitor.

Image

I actually had these fonts the "&" was a perfect match. I had to use fonts CLOSE to the originals for the "A"s I think they were actually hand drawn, and the "&" was made just a font.
