I have not played it much, but the last few weeks I have picked it up a few times. I can totally see what all the fuss was about. VERY cool game.
I'm not big on the game myself, but it is fun to watch others play. My brother used to come over and challenge my kids, they had a blast. He bought the game for his son, but ended up playing it far more than my nephew ever did.
I am not good (I only play on Medium) but my nephew is a master. I really do enjoy it.
I don't think I would be very good at it either. I watch people playing at the faster speeds and can't believe they can keep up with it.

That last Colossi is tough. I still haven't beaten that game because of that guy. I don't think it's that he's so hard to beat that I gave up, as much as the couple times I tried I got sick of running through the underground tunnels just to get to him to try and beat him.

There were some 16-bit RPG's with bad save systems that gave me the same feeling.

That wasn't 16-bit  I was thinking more like 7th Saga and even Lufia-and I liked Lufia a LOT. Some of the games then had rotten save schemes which forced you to travel huge distances over rough terrain in order to get to a boss that could kill you in 3 or 4 shots. Not fun. HIGHLY annoying. It's one of the reasons I wasn't big on Final Fantasy 5.

Tiger Woods 10 on the 360 ... a few new things but it doesn't reinvent the wheel. And Conduit on the Wii ... mostly fun first-person shooter with decent controls but it looks like an N64 game.

Still progressing through Excite Bots on Wii. I love that it's a big game that really rewards you the more you practice. Just got all an S ranking on all the normal races and now making my way through Super Excite to unlock the Crystal Cup. Just got my first 1st and 2nd places finishes online (boy you can rack up some stars by betting!).

Just curious, anyone else use the Wii's Everybody Votes Channel? Currently got 68.8% predition accuracy out of 110 votes and I'm 4.4 miles from popular opinion (though that last one won't last long). I'm just wondering if that's good or average or if I suck on there.

I am playing Dead Space at the moment. It is cool.

At this exact moment in time I am watching my brother get annihilated by the last boss on Star Ocean: The Last Hope.

I'm still trying to platinum on Ghostbusters. However, I'm hearing rumors that two of the Multi-player trophy's glitch and you can't actually obtain them.

WOW is it EVER.... and I have a free movie ticket ta boot. I am home on a medical today or I would go see the movie again.

The game is very fast paced and soooometimes you cannot make out the Decepticons from the scenery (buildings mostly) but I am having a blast and I am NOT a Transformers fan by any means of measure. I never owned a Transformer  and am not sure if I ever watched a complete episode of the cartoon but whats pretty cool about the game is that I have unlocked two of the original episodes from back then (oh wow they are terrible, not much uh 'transforming' going on but a lot of 'screw it I dont want to draw it, lets just have them morph' kinda stuff going on.... and the big bad guy was a GUN ?)

I will have to look on Ebay and look for some beat up transformers...

I was REALLY impressed by both movies and in Blu-Ray the first one is amazing and I can only imagine how the second will look.

But the game ? Hey, I am not a fan (except for the movies) but I REALLY have a good time with this game. There is just something to it, yes... this game, there is (wait for it)..... more than meets the eye.

Perhaps for the Wii (both of your reviews were for the Wii but other consoles may not have liked it either)... but me and my 360, I am having a great time with it.

Gamespot gave it a 7.5 for the 360 (and I usually do not buy a game unless it is at least an 8) with a gamers rating of 7.8.

I don't go too deep into games, I just go for fun factor, or coolness... sometimes I just want to press buttons.

It did fare a little better for the 360, but not much. The important thing is that you're enjoying the game. I've liked a lot of games in the past that didn't make the cut. However, I do usually try to wait and buy them when they lower the price just to make sure.

X-Play had some gripes with it but they decided it was better than they were expecting. I think they ultimately gave it a 3 of 5. I will probably pick it up on the used market when it gets cheap enough.

I'll be picking up Dead Space from a friend this weekend and maybe Batman: AA when it comes out (I'm starting to hear rumors that it is way over-hyped on the interwebs). Other than that I'm just counting down the days for MW2.

And I've been playing a little Peggle lately and that think is a blackhole for time. Lots of fun and lots of challenges if you are into that sort of thing. Anyone got some suggestions for XBLA games, has anyone got BF: 1943 yet?

I'm not going to invest my $15.99 into it. (BF:1943)
