Make it up as far as Lubbock and I'll go.

Make it as far north as Amarillo and I'll buy a table.

The Panhandle is a long way to go for a small show.It might be possible as a "Sportscard,Comic Book ,Toy Show". I think Lubbock is more centrally located for folks ,that way folks in Amarillo,Midland /Odessa could make the show.

Pretty much. Lubbock would also be convenient in that I could squeeze in a trip to my folks' place.

Thanks for the "nice guy" compliment, as far as the turnout goes...

Please remember that the "JMV Comic Book Show " is intended to be just that a one day "show" ... not a multi media "convention"

We charge a small admission price at the door and our dealers pay a reasonable price for tables.

There are future plans to try to bring in a top name "guest" (not multiple guests) from the comic industry that would hopefully get more "big head " dealers interested

Me too ! I will be dressed as the luchadore "Promoterman" which looks very similar to real life luchadore "El Blue Demon" and not to confused with that clown who calls himself "El Hijo de Santos"

I never know till the last minute. I get a lot of "maybe" or I have to check with my wife, or some other BS from potential dealers. :!:

I need some collectors to Man Up,grab their nutz sacks and say yes I want to make money selling comic books and related items at a JMV Comic Book Show .. where do I sign up at ? :thumb:

I mean isn't Houston supposed to be Hustle Town USA ? Or is Paul Wall and Mike Jones misrepresenting H -Town ? :o

iEl Hijo de Santo sigue la leyenda de su padre, El Santo!

?Como pueda hablar asi tan malo del Santo?

Not too bad for a white boy. You ought to hear me speak it. I've been stopped at the border because my spanish is so good.

En colegio.

I didn't meet many meat packers until I moved up here to Dumas. The INS runs regular raids on Swift so they started bringing in immigrants that are harder to deport like Somalis and the Burmese.
