Comico- Grendal comics

Post by dbostejano »

Ok so I know the first appearance of Grendel is worth some cash, but do any of the Comico Grendal books worth anything?

I ran into a nice fun of them for a buck each, are they worth me picking up are there any I should be looking for?

They are indeed worth picking up as the majority of the Comico books I have read have been really cool. I am trying to put together a DU set. I would recommend them certainly.

As to resale value, I don't think there are many that are worth big bucks except the ones everyone knows.

Comico Primer 2 (Grendel's 1st app) is worth some serious coin. If nothing else, buy them and sell them to me.

Grendel vol. 1 ran for three issues. All three are worth some money, but probably not as much as Primer 2.

Grendel vol. 2 ran for 40 issues and probably isn't worth much. Definitely a worthwile read.

The Grendel books might have been worth more in 2007 when it was the 25th Anniversary of Grendel.

Comico Primer # 2
Grendel # 1 & 2
The Hardback ( reprints #1 & 2?)
The last issue of the Ongoing.

Just stick to these.

I got Grendel #40 (the last issue) and Grendel: The Devil's Legacy signed and numbered hardcover (which reprints #1-12).
