I can't wait to tear into those DUs... I am complete on a reading set, needing an ashcan or something like to be at 100% but I could pick that up and start it. Impact which is ANOTHER can't wait to read, needs some help but it is picking up quick.Cyberstrike wrote:Genesis and Impact
Out of Genesis, I can't wait to read The Protectors.... BUT, before I tear into that, I think I either wait to get my final issues of Dreadstar or grab my near complete (missing a few TPBs, in which my friends in the UK are trying to help me out with) Rogue Trooper... I have the common run and the first mini series but when I get started, I'll want to have those TPBs and I am not sure but those might be a bit higher than I usually want to pay for items. But, you know how it goes... when you are at the finishing point of your collection, you'll raise your norm price just to get it over... hahaha
So, I am torn... Dreadstar or Rogue Trooper ?
I just won a Dreadstar and Company auction for cheap and while I know it is reprints, I dig the cover. Starlin's story and art ROCKS as does the art by Dave Gibbons, so it is a toss up.
Either way, whatever I choose it will be a good choice.

Valiant and New Universe are my only two currently.
Though I've read some Crossgen and found it very interesting. I liked the way the crossgen mark thingy (red and orange yin/yang sorta thing) appeared on different people and manifested different powers. I remember some soldier guy fighting aliens and a pirate girl that could fly. I had gotten TPB's from my local library awhile back.

The Sigil was to have been an over-arching storyline which was to encompass a 10 year span in which to tell the story to it's completion. All Sigils were to in some way be connected and the final story was to be grand to say the least. (sigh) If it had only worked out.Phoenix8008 wrote:Valiant and New Universe are my only two currently.

Great plan... poor execution, which led to the demise of the company.

But it was pretty good up until the end. I have not seen the same drop off that is seen in other companies.
