Coming Soon....
Just found out that one of my best friends would like my help cleaning out his comic collection and paring it down to just the stuff he wants to re-read. I know he has a bunch of various DU stuff. Since I'm in Tennessee and he's in Arizona currently, this project will be slow but sure. I'm 'virtually' sorting his collection now thanks to the wonders of ComicBase and PDFs, and we'll be getting together both before and during SDCC, so I think I'll be coming back with a large amount of stuff.
He's mainly just wanting to get rid of stuff to people that would actually enjoy it and perhaps make a few bucks to pay off some electronics he just got. I should have some good deals to offer people!

Yeah, I've just been told I'm not allowed to touch the Crossgen but the Valiants are mine. Looks like there might also be some Malibu, Comic's Greatest World, 2099, and Impact so far. Some old school Image.
No Broadway or Defiant though.

See if he'll piece mail them to you , tell him you'll pay shipping with a little help from your DU friendsturborip wrote:The other trick is seeing just how much I'll be able to haul back. There is over 14,000 comics he's sorting, and me with only limited space for air travel....and not counting what I haul back from SDCC.

Heres my updated Want List

I once mailed two long boxes from Texas to New York for a total cost of $35. That's 90 lbs of comics.tictuck wrote:See if he'll piece mail them to you , tell him you'll pay shipping with a little help from your DU friendsturborip wrote:The other trick is seeing just how much I'll be able to haul back. Media mail?
There's a certain weight after which Bulk Rate is cheaper than Media Mail.
