To be honest, I guess the price is ok if it doesn't go much higher and you don't mind having low grade copies of these books. I try to at least get mid grade copies of these, and finding copies in mid-grade for dirt cheap isn't as easy as it used to be.Chiclo wrote:Second time this has been posted on the boards.
Boo indeed, Bro J.

Yeah, i do leave the lower grade copies when im buying my DU's, although ill take a copy with a bigger fault if its a harder issue to get, but not worn copies of 80's up.Brother J wrote:To be honest, I guess the price is ok if it doesn't go much higher and you don't mind having low grade copies of these books. The Atlas books are cropping up more the last few years and i picked up a nice run for 50p each.
A lot of them have uk stamps on them, but i love those too.
I would pay $10 (6.50gbp) for this many in lower grades, as they come in at just over 10p a hit.

Did they come in ok or were they quite tatty?, not that it matter when they are nicely priced for an almost set that you can upgrade later.

I think im about five or ten short of a set, but on top i need the mags too.Chiclo wrote:They are mid-grade mid-70s comics. Exactly as advertised.
I'd been thinking about getting into Atlas and I haven't seen many in bargain bins when I've had the chance to look through them. Worked for me.
Now I have the magazines and Vicki on my needs list.

I'll pass, but if I run across any other lots like this on eBay, I'll keep you in mind.Cyberstrike wrote:I'll buy them from you.Chiclo wrote:Dude! I won that one too!Cyberstrike wrote:It's the same one as this one.
This is the way I like getting into a DU, getting a huge chunk of the books all at once. I did it with Triumphant ($3.84 for all but 5 books), CGW ($9.99 for all but the Ghost books and the premiums, and I already had most of the Ghost) and Defiant/Broadway (all but the super-rare and a handful of Broadway books, $9.99).
