It doesnt matter who you put in against Rob, they just cant lose.
Sure some of the guys he worked with were stunningly awfull too, but i thnk some of them could actually draw before they worked with him, so maybe they coudl after too.

Rob himself though, no.

Not good.

Jae Lee is very talented.

And I type that 110% irony- and sarcasm-free.

Yeah i do like some of his stuff, but at the same time anyone who did work on early Image books will no doubt want us to forget them.

There both crummy in my book.RL always draws the same characters, sorry *SQUEE*.JL I guess I hate his guts since I met him a while back in the early 90's in a LA show, and was very cocky and rude to me and my friends,so he can kiss my a$$.

I have only seen Jae Lee's work from his early Image days. I wasn't aware that he has more recent work. What are some examples of his recent work that you guys like?

The "Dark Tower" related comic books. Jae Lee does the pencils and someone else paints over that, but they always show some of his sketches and non-painted pages in the back of the book. It's still really great work from Jae Lee.

The Dark Tower Stephen King Marvel books of recent.

I really liked his stuff on the Sentry, that was superb, maybe the best of his career, plus the Inhumans mini that he also did with Jenkins at a similar time.

I know he isnt everyone cup of tea and with rumours of him being the artist for the VIP ashcan and buddies with DF thats no surprise, but not in any way can he be compared to Mr Anatomy himself.

Jea Lee also did a Namor run in the early 90s. I seem to think I liked it. I know I liked the series. I think I gave the run to Knightt to read on a plane or something. :hm: .... can't remember.

I do remember that Dr. Doom was in those Namor issues.... and he was all cool looking.

Some of Jae Lees work. I don't think you can even compare his work to Robs. Jae is in a league all his own.

There's a cover that I used to have a B&W print of the pencils to. It was the cover to the Motorhead Special (part of Dark Horse Comic's CGW line)and it was by Lee. The colored version was nice, but the B&W was stunning.

Not to worry guys we havent done the Liefawkes night yet, quite simply becasue there are so many hideous issues to collect.

We are however on two boxes so far with no multiples.

Whats really cool is we actually have some nicer books in there too like Alan Moores Supreme, but hey its gotta go.

I would have loved that for my CGW collection.
